Site News & Antigravitational Photos

As you probably noticed, we are moving some things over here at Mighty Optical Illusions. The most obvious change is that now we have our own, much simpler, and better looking domain name. From now on you can access Mighty Optical Illusions by typing www.moillusions.com, or simply type moillusions.com in your web browser. However, the old domain still works, and will redirect visitors to our new domain. Still, we are having some glitches, and I need your help to email me if something doesn’t work. Please test our Google Gadget and see if the newest illusions appear in it. Also we need some of you to comment your Dashboard Widget, does it work fine? They should both show the latest illusion on your screen. Another thing, do you see all images on the manipage and icons in the sidebar? Comments should work properly now, but also be sure to test them. If you find anything wrong with the site, don’t hesitate to email me, so I can fix it :) Me and my coworkers are doing our best to give you best of Mighty Optical Illusions. I would also like to ask all who are linking to us, to update their link to www.moillusions.com. You are welcome to spread the word about new Mighty Illusions to your friends and colleagues.

That’s it for now, stay tuned for more news concerning the site, and in the mean time check this collection of impossible photo scenes. Author is Philippe Ramette, and he was already featured on this site in the past. All of the images below are real time performances, and aren’t photoshopped.

  1. These aren’t very spectacular. It looks like this google thing shows the best illusions ’cause the rest doesn’t seem to be worth to see

  2. Your RSS feed is also going haywire. It’s littered with older illusions, like Santa Claus afterimage, moon & star island, WTC Devil, fish face paint…

  3. ok ok how many times you need to say widget dont work , this is hardly the place to mention it.
    oops i did
    Ok whatever
    google bla bla bleagh
    These pictures are stunningly cool.
    and well executed.
I usta know a guy who was a wall walker.
but he fell over the horizon, never seen him since.

  4. The one where he looks like he is walking up a tree is obviously photoshopped. Besides the fact that its pretty much impossible, and I hate to point out th eobvious here, there is no shadow on the ground of him where there is of the tree. While others of these could be done without it if you get the right camera angle and upper body strength the one that is so obviously fake takes away any credibility. They look neat but by association the rest are fake as well.

  5. You learn how to do this in any photoshop 101 class. Its one of the first things you learn in photoshop. Its very simple thus the reason why you see it everywhere.
