How Many People Are There?

Look at the first picture carefully and count all the people in it. If you print it out, and cut as shown in the second pic, you’ll be able to rearrange the pieces, and form a new picture. Mysteriously, the new composition shows different number of people in it – more precisely, extra person has appeared. How can this be? The principle is the same we had in Leprechauns illusion and “Count The People” one.   3. i see how its done the rock in the first pic turns into half a head so one head makes 2 and the rock allowes the pic to be compleate

  4. this is easily expained. You see the two people kissing on the left hand side in the first picture? Now look towards the middle of the first picture and you’ll see a sort of pile of dirt. This dirt transforms into the kissing man’s shoes in the second picture when you do all the cutting. Hope i helped. -tosterxxxmafia

  6. the turd in the first pic becomes both a head and a pair of feet in the second pic (the smoking head of the bussiness guy in underwear and the feet of the guy kissing)

  7. The number of people plus the dog droppings in the first picture is the same as the number of people in the second. In both cases there is one more object in the top half than there is in the second, it is just that in the first picture that thing is an inanimate object and the thing in the body picture is a person.

    If you follow the movement of body parts there is no exchange, each body part moved is the moved to someone else in a progressive manner, making each person a bit shorter in the second picture in the first. This starts with the guy in his underwear getting the dog droppings for his hair and ends with the male kisser losing the bottom of his feet and ending up where the dog droppings started.

    This is a really indirect and not obvious way to exchange the dog droppings for the male kisser. Basically they are exchanged but the exchange passes through everyone else in the picture first. It also means picking out exactly where the missing person came from is not really possible since each person does not change by much. It is the cumulative change of all the people that makes exchanging those two objects possible.

    To follow the progression completely, the guy in his underwear uses the dog droppings in the first picture as his hair in the second, making his head smaller. Then the top of his head is moved to the bicyclist. Her hair is then moved to the guy sitting. His head is moved to the guy with the cat. His head is moved to the guy with the cane. His head is moved to the woman with the striped shirt. Her head is moved to the female kisser. Her body is moved to the bearded guy. His body is moved to the guy picking his nose. His body is moved to the juggler. His body is moved to the guitarist. His body is moved to the male kisser. And finally his body is moved to an empty spot that used to have the dog droppings.

  8. It’s simple. Look at the first picture, you’ll find 3 green trousers. Afterwards, look at the next picture and you’ll see 4 green trousers.

  12. They take a “slice” of each body to make another one, on the 1 image everybody is taller, the shit is the top of somebody but look carefully and every body looses a small slice… just check it

  13. it’s the guy sitting down. fifth from the right. his face gets cut in half and makes two faces in the last picture combined with the other useless objects in the first image. simpleeeee.

  14. I think Todd pretty much got it, but I was still confused, so I figured it out for myself. Here’s how I explain it:

    First, notice how there are nine faces from the second picture that you can recognize from the first. From left to right in the second picture: the guitarist, the black woman, the guy picking his nose, the old bald man, the guy kissing, the woman kissing, the juggler, the guy with brown hair and an open mouth, and the guy in the wife-beater. These faces are in the first picture as well as the second.

    However, there are four faces (for a total of thirteen) in the second picture that you cannot find in the first picture. You can find their *bodies*, so at a glance it looks you’re seeing the same people, but you can’t find their heads: the guy getting his leg bitten, the woman on the bike, the guy sitting cross-legged, and the guy in his boxers. Also note that all of these — with the exception maybe of Boxer Man — look squinty and squashed.

    NOW. Look specifically at the cross-legged guy in the first picture. Look carefully at what they did to him in the second picture. They cut his head in half. The top half went to the Dog Guy in the second picture, to create ONE entire head. The bottom half of his head stayed to create ANOTHER head using the top of the cyclist’s head from the first picture. She got the now missing top of her head from the guy in the boxers, who got the new top of HIS head from the pile of dog poop in the first picture.

    They did essentially the same thing with the legs. They basically cut the kissing guy’s leg into two pieces to make an extra pair of legs. Notice how the cuffs on his pants from the first picture turn into his shoes in the second picture, leaving his blue shoes behind to be taken over by the guitarist, who loses his feet. The feet are taken by the juggler, whose old feet are taken by Nose-Picker, whose old feet (and knees) are taken by Wife-Beater, whose old feet (and legs) are taken by Kissing Lady, whose old feet (and legs) are taken by the black woman, whose old feet (and half of her body) are taken by the brown-haired guy, whose entire lower body is taken by just the head of the old bald guy, whose entire body is taken by just the top HALF of the head of the cross-legged guy in the first picture. Now it does the face-splicing thing that I already explained.

    Like Todd said, it’s not something you can just pick out. You recognize most of the faces from the first picture, and for those faces you don’t necessarily recognize, you recognize the lower bodies (the dog biting the guy’s leg, the bicycle, the crossed legs, and the boxers).

    You could say that the one new person is the guy in the second picture is Dog Guy. His face did not exist before: it was formed by the top half of the cross-legged guy’s old head.

    This really tripped me out. :)

    there was a head of a man appear in the changing of picture…
    the head is behind the man hus wearing blue coat…look at the picture…did anyone see a head in the first that have glasses and have a curly hair??..hmm.. i think NO…it was added when the picture is transfer to the other…and to make u so confuse,,the legs of guy hus kissing the girl is als transfer to the other part…
    then.look again to the pictute…u will see the difference…ahaahahah…so easy to get…fro myla oraa

  17. wow cool illusion… took me about 4 minutes to figure it out … but those of you that say the turd is his shoes are wrong if you look carefully you will notice that he has a cuff in his pant in the first pic and then the cuff looks like his shoes in the second pic … therefore allowing and extra pair of feet and then the turd added to the head …

  20. This is the simplest answer:

    The kissing guy in the second arrangement has no feet. He is only half a person just like the turd in the first shot has no legs, so is also half a person…you just don’t count it in the first shot.

  21. …or it could be said that the kisser’s original feet have been divided into two feet and the turd turned into a head to make one extra full set.

  22. The pile of poop in the first one is someone’s feet in the second one. So the pile of poop was the reason for the extra person.

  23. The dancing man next to the guitarist in the first one keeps half of his legs in the second one and the other half are the second kissing lady’s whole legs. The pile of poo or dirt or whatever becomes hair. The face is made up of lost fragments. :)

  24. If u notice carefully, the foot of the kissing guy gets cut off and is transferred to the man playing guitar, also the lump of poop on the floor beomes the new hair of the man in the blue suit. (Right side)
