Da Vinci Code Illusion

We got ourselves another user-submitted picture to share with you! Edith Wentz sent us this wonderfull image called “A secret Monument”. It is located in Hanseviertel, shopping mall, Hamburg. The explanation should go something like this: In the early eighties, many construction workers from Poland worked for West German building-sites, underpaid and exploited for the most part. The workers in Hamburg placed a monumental message in the front of this building – invisible for the supervision of building and architects, hidden by the scaffolding when still under construction – and not to be removed by the owners once the shopping mall was finished. If you look more closely you may read it: P O L E N”. Feels like you were inside Da Vinci Code, right? Deciphering codes, decoding and stuff… ;)
