Spot The Hidden Owl IllusionI’m pretty sure you’ll have no trouble at all spotting the hidden owl in the image next to this article. I’m little embarrassed having to admit I have had this photo on my computer for over a year now, but never discovered the hidden illusion – up until today. So, beat me shamelessly and discover the illusion in lesser time. If you like all sorts of Spot The Object Illusions, you’ll have merry time visiting this specific category.

Another question I wanted to ask all of you – How many of you use Optical Illusion of the day widget? The little application that pulls the latest illusion from this site’s RSS Feed, and shows it on your PC desktop, Mac dashboard, Google Homepage or Facebook profile? Which one is the most popular in your experience? Would you recommend it to any of your friends? Have you experienced any bugs interacting with them recently? Help me learn the facts, improve this site (…and all of its content), and most importantly – feel free to share your improvement ideas!

Found it almost right away! But maybe you can use the excuse that it’s always easier to find something when you know what you’re looking for.

I get the illusions via RSS, and it’s a lot of fun! Thank you, and keep up the good work! :-)

I use the Google Homepage widget and I’ve already told people to add it. Though it seems to have a problem when I’m using Opera, sometimes the last picture wont show so I have to press the link to the site, not much of a problem but I thought I should let you know. Anyway, check my mails about the Mighty Magic Tricks site ;)

  21. David Oblas says:

i use the igoogle homepage widget, and my experience is that it’s great! I love my igoogle page, and this widget is right at the top next to the daily news.

  22. Love the site! says:

This is great! Only thing about these types of illusions is that it’s just a picture pasted on to something else… Not amazing like an impossible structure might be…
    Still good though

I use iGoogle widget. This is my fav thing I have on my homepage. It works perfectly.

I used to have the Mac widget but found it didn’t work much of the time. I now have it as an application in Facebook and check on it fairly regularly (enough to know when you haven’t updated in 24 hrs.)
    Thanks…I do enjoy this site.

I like the real illusions, not the ones with amateur Photoshop hacks doing second-rate work. I’ve seen some good stuff here recently though.

  30. Anonymous says:

    Igoogle here too !!

  31. Anonymous says:

I use the Mac widget! In fact, I downloaded it last night. Funny you should mention this…

  32. di says:

i use the mac dashboard widget. it’s awesome in that it updates everyday, but i dislike how i need to be taken to the website in order to view commentary. perhaps it’s possible to change the widget such that commentary appears on the widget itself or flip side of it (to save dashboard space).

    just my opinion
    =)
great site though, i enjoy seeing new illusions on my widget

    mac widget

  46. Anonymous says:

    I found it right away.
I use it on my google homepage. I have never had any problems at all. I actually would recommend it. I can see it whenever I click to go to my email, which works well because if I see a new illusion is up then I can click on it and come right to the page.

  47. jackorjoe says:

Hey, I love your site! I have the facebook application and my only comment is that if there’s multiple pictures it only shows the first one so it helps if you mention the fact that there’s more early in the description so I know when I need to go to the site. Thanks for the great job.

  48. Queina says:

I have the pc widget, got it from Yahoo. It always updates when there’s a new illusion. Interestingly enough, I often see the illusion on the little thumbnail before I even come to the site, like todays. Just find it kind of funny.
