Let’s start the weekend off right—with an impossible object! An impossible waterfall to be exact.
You can state at this impossible waterfall for as long as you want. You won’t figure it out. That’s the beauty of these impossible object illusions! Nothing looks amiss with them when you first glance at them, but when you look closer, it becomes apparent that something isn’t quite right. In this waterfall illusion, for instance, it looks like a continuous loop of water. Look a little closer, however, and you’ll see that if the top of the waterfall looped around the back like it is, it would end op on the side and not above the other end.
This particular impossible waterfall illusion image is a variation of Escher’s waterfall. A more simplistic version, but another version nonetheless.
