I found this carpet in a hotel in small town in Turkey.
Although the floor is completely flat the wavy pattern of the carpet makes you believe that it bulges out and you become extra careful not to stumble when walking down one of the corridors in the hotel.
This is definitely one crazy carpet optical illusion! It makes you wonder just what the interior designers were thinking when they chose this carpet. I can’t imagine trying to walk down this hallway…
