Coffee..The Whole World Enjoys It!

Coffee Illusion

I have just stumbled upon these two peculiar, coffee-related photos lying on my hard disk. Before I begin, let me share this interesting fact – Did you know that the coffee was first discovered in Northern Africa in an area we know today as Ethiopia? A popular legend refers to a goat herder by the name of Kaldi, who observed his goats acting unusually frisky after eating berries from a bush. Curious about this phenomena, Kaldi tried eating the berries himself, only to find out that these berries gave him a renewed energy.

The news of this energy laden fruit quickly spread throughout the region. Monks hearing about this amazing fruit, dried the berries so that they could be transported to distant monasteries. They reconstituted these berries in water, ate the fruit, and drank the liquid to provide stimulation for a more awakened time for prayer. So there you have it! I personally believe the truth lyes somewhere in between this legend and recorded history. Can you easily see the illusion in the photo on your right? I’ve already gave you much more help than you need!

BTW, I’m doing some changes on this site, so Facebook commenting system will be out of function for now. I’ve also added few more screenshots of our mobile site (provided by our regular readers) .

  1. How is this an illusion? It’s just bubbles/coffee beans photoshopped (or organized) to look like a map of the world. No illusion here.

    1. Agree! When there’s no twist in my mind, I don’t count as an illusion. But there are other people maybe less familiarized with maps. It’s subjective…

  2. Ehhh it´s a photoshopped cup with the bubbles manually arranged to form a world map …….. where´s the illusion ??? Wish there was more unique stuff …….

    1. To: Andrewpoky, late but here it is…….

OK, poky, you have 5 mins. We start the countdown in 15 secs. Ready, set, go a—.
Did you do it?? Of course not so stop griping or go somewhere else.

  3. Am I missing something? Wheres the illusion it looks like a manipulated photo, without messing around with it cant get it big enough to check out if those are actually bubbles or something else but the concept of illuion is that something is not what it seems and so far that picture appears to be what it actually is…. therefore no illusion.

  4. Oh–the illusion is the world is at peace and stable in a cup of coffee as opposed to reality; where coffee causes labour abuse and child slavery in the producer countries and hypertension and heart disease in the consumer countries. So cool. Thanks!

  5. Hmmm…. Surely you can do better than this? I suspect it becomes a bit difficult to find a new illusion every day but this just a little bit crap :)

I should add that I’m a big fan of this site.

  6. They aren’t both manipulated, because the coffee bean one could be just arranged in that way,and the bubbles in the coffee could have been almost that way,and manipulated a little,or it looks (Almost)perfect in the distance… Oh yeah, and there’s no Australia in the cup… Or is the fan-shaped blotch supposed to be Australia?

  7. at first i just thought it was just a bunch of bubbles, but this could be an illusion because it could fool some one. it even fooled me for a few seconds…

  8. There is actualy an illusion, if you look closely enough you can see a 2 faces and part of the “female body”. Asia, Europe, and Africa make up one of the faces, and North america has another.

  9. I FOUND IT I FOUND IT !!!!!!!!!

No …. it´s not about the world map at all…….

    Like each and every illusions on this site … it is a …… a ……. a ……

    ….. Cupcake …. :D

No – not the coffe cup ….. the hemp sack is ….. a cupcake ….. its unbelieveable …… the illusions was to so badly photoshop the beans onto the sack that they dont even match the lighting and alignment of the sack ….. which is in truth ….. a cupcake ……

After all – the biggest achievement of this site is to create the illusion that they actually show illusions :D
