Amazing Shadow Illusions Collection

The summer came, and many of you are probably enjoying sun and recreation. I noticed a slump in our visitor count last few days, so probably thats the reason, at least I hope so. Anyone has an idea how we can bring more visitors to our community? Anyway, thats my problem, and nothing to concern you. I’ll be going to vacation in few weeks, but don’t worry – I’m bringing the laptop with me, so new illusions still will be posted each day. Like they were last year. Am I awesome or what ;) For today, spotted by Dean Bein, here are some of the most amazing Shadow Illusions created by Tim Noble and Sue Webster. Dean Bein “Hi, I don’t know if you’ve done anything on shadow illusions before but these are pretty incredible.” To get better insight how they work, you should watch this video, and see these two articles: Fukuda’s Underground Piano and Shadow Couple illusion

  1. I do hav to say that is pretty damn amazing, i couldn’t do that in a million years! Love the site!

  2. 1) All u’r illusions r grat! I dont know how they were able 2 make these shadows.
    2) I’m sorry, but idont know how 2 bring more visitors, but i will definitly tell every1 i know about this site. It’s the COOLEST!!

  3. “Must be fake” – Grrrr….

Haven’t you seen shadows made with your hands that look a bit like a face? Well, apply that thought to a man made sculpture (that would take hours of painstaking set up).

It’s perfectly possible, the impressive thing is the inspiration to have started it, and then the attention to detail that makes the end result look so good.

  4. i really enjoy these illusions. it would be nice though if you could get a video showing how the image appears with a light moving around just so that all those who believe it to be fake can enjoy the sense of amazment everyone else does.

cheerio and keep up the great stuff!!

  5. ok that is real kool but i think i know how it works

they make the pile of watev a it is look at least a bit like the shadow will and shine a light i=on it but a dullish one and then behind the curtain have people behind it oin the position and a brighter light shining on them which is the shadow that we think comes from the pile of wateva it is at the front

  6. im just gonna say somthing then talk about the shadows. first off, for the people who go ‘woohoo first (or second) comment!’ is there any point in that, i mean if you’re not first than you just look like an idiot. now about the shadows, i dont care whether people think they are real or not, these are amazing, keep up the good work Vurdlak!

  7. thats cuz its not an illusion, if u actually look at it, ull see theres no way it cud be real, theres obviously a screen and people posing behind it with a light shining behind them… realy now like, there is absolutly no way its real.
