  1. I think this one works because your brain is making assumptions on the pieces being fragments of two whole circles. since the top line of the inner fragment is longer than the bottom line of the outter fragment, it must be longer. The logic works if the two circles are cut with one continuous cut. … i don’t know, that’s my theory

  2. the bottoms of both shapes are different from the tops, and one being above the other makes it look like there different

  3. I’ve seen a plastic version of this before. There are two pieces and they look different when you place them like that, but when you lay them on top of each other they are exactly the same size.

    I tried to make it with paper but apparently you need to make them exactly the right shape for it to work- cos mine didnt.

  5. when i look at the corners on the left it makes sense but when looking at the entire thing it doesnt look same size

  6. if u look at the picture one is bent on one is not and I’m younger than everyone here i have great eyes :)
