Santa Claus Optical Illusion

This one was submitted by user called Sergio, and the image is originally created by CoolOpticalIllusions. Apparently, if you focus your eyes on this image for minute or so, and then look away and starre at the sheet of paper or some other white surface, you’ll see Santa Claus, wearing his usual red cloathes and white beard. Try it and feel free to post if it worked for you aswell as it did for me! The principle is the same as “American Flag Illusion”, “Jesus Illusion”, “Batman Logo”

  1. sorry but the illusion wasnt that mind-boggling. tho it did form a faint outline of the red santa!

  2. Didn’t work for me :(

Not even a blurry out-focused red stain. I guess my eyes don’t work with blue negative pictures.

Black and white, tho, is a must :)

  3. it didnt work for me either . But i think it was because we did the others first.. Maybe my brain got tired ?..

  4. NOPE, IT DIDN’T WORK FOR ME… I DIDN’T SEE ANYTHING AFTER I LOOKED AWAY… O WEL, MAYBE MY EYES AREN’T GOOD WITH THESE COLORS OR SOMETHING

  5. you need to stare at that one dot above his glasses ( the one where is he holds the glasses )
    then it will work!

  6. I FINALLY GOT IT. LIKE THE OTHER PERSON SAID ~ LOOK AT THE BLACK DOT ABOVE HIL GLASSES BY HIS HAND. AT FIRST ALL I SAW WAS A PINK SQUARE THEN THE IMAGE CAME IN. COOL!

  7. It didn’t work for me :(
But if you copy the picture and paste it into paint then go to image > invert colors it shows the picture the way you should see it on the wall.
    :)

  8. dats dissin santa mann! all i saw was some old fat fart! well it wasnt really a person, it was a red blur. Boy, these opticall illusions have BLINDED me! i loved the jesus 1 – cos i love jesus!!!!!!
    xxxxxxxxxxxx

  9. I did see a faint red outline but something more interesting caught my eye. When I started to look at the negative image, I widened my eyes a little and sort of focused slightly away from the image, but could still see it if you know what I mean. Then i saw what appeared to be a very menacing man with evil eyes staring up towards the camera. Its complicated but basically santas glove became the mans shoulder and arm, and santas eyes were the mans eyes, because his head was at an odd angle. Sorry for the long comment but it was weird

  10. All i saw was bob barker from “price is right” and a mixture of David Spade And K-fed and maybe a bit of the kid in the middle from the “Chapman’s Icecream” container. Oh yah i almost forgot it sorta had the face of one of the kids from “The Brady Bunch”

  11. i would just like to say that ur site is way better than the link u put up above. head and shoulder above…you’ve got no irratating ads and people comment! keep posting!

  12. It didn’t work for me, but I don’t know if I stared at it for long enough. Can I just say that if you look at his eyes….well, the one that is open more than the other SCARES ME!!!

  13. Outline of a ghost :0 .
Liar (liar) if we’re ceaping score
we’re all quiet boys at best….
    :P

  14. the reason that you see red is because if you invert the colours, turquoise = red, and black = white, and when you stare at something, then you look at a piece of paper, the colours invert into the right colour (which is red and white of santa claus)

  15. My after effect did go red but santa looked super distorted and shrivelled like a mummy. It was creepy!

  16. my sis iss like so annoying she said tht she couldnt see nothin butt she dnt knoe how to use it cuz she is a dumbass like the other ppl who can’t use it as well ughhh gett a life! && sukk my dickk bitchess! D:<

  17. way cool. look for maybe 2 minuits and u have to blink repeditevely. also, i reccommend clicking on the image, then looking on the rest of the space on the screen while blinking way cool

  18. Hey you have to stare at the picture for 30 minutes and look at a white wall and YOU’LL SEE HIM IN COLOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  19. I did not see it. Cool picture anyway. I find that if I stare at the picture long enough then I can see Santa in his red outfit without having to stare at a white sheet of paper.
