Runner With Missing Leg Illusion

With the 2016 Summer Olympics in full swing, sporty optical illusions just seem appropriate, don’t you think? Well, I do! Today, I have an interesting perfectly timed photo illusion for you. Take a look at this runner with a missing leg…

Now, normally, I’d be able to tell you exactly where her leg is hidden. This is not one of those times, however. Where’s her other leg, you ask?

Don’t ask me, because I really have no clue! I’d like to say that it’s hidden behind the shirt she’s carrying, but that would have to be an awful small leg! Or, at the very least, an awful perfect camera angle!

Maybe some of you can figure it out. Leave your guesses in the comments below, and maybe we’ll be able to solve the mystery of the missing leg.

  1. Here is a non-photoshopped version of the image. One leg is mostly hidden by the other, but definitely two legs.

  2. The lower part of leg is actually the right leg. Left is hidden behind it. If you look closely you can see both calf muscles.
