Merry X-Mas Optical Illusion

Hey everyone! I would like to wish you all a merry and peaceful Christmas. Those of you who don’t celebrate it, I still wish you all the best for Hollydays and forthcoming days. I managed to find only one new Christmas related illusion on the net, and the one I found should be good enough for this post. Optical Illusion “professionals” will easily recognize Julian Beever posing next to his newest creation. If you like Julian’s creations, don’t miss our recent article, as well as “3D Sidewalk Drawings” category which is accessible from our sidebar. Enjoy the following days, and make us popular by spreading the link :) (This is my wish from you for Christmas.. Digg, Stumbleupon etc.)

  1. Nah man… the baby is putting his/her letter in the post box, which falls straight through the ground onto Santa’s desk. Nice drawing, just not as flush as the others.

  2. Anonymous #5:

Who cares if this picture is not real, can you draw like that? This man is a genius for his artistic ability! Quit complaining and just enjoy it for an awesome piece of artwork!

  3. Nice illusion, if I had a chance I could post loads of such original masterpieces, cause 3d pictures are around on the web now and I adore them :)

Anyway, happy New Year! I hope Santa has alreasy told you THANKs for your collected illusions !!!

  4. To people who are saying “It’s badly done, it doesn’t look real” I say well, obviously. Have you ever seen a pool in the middle of a pavement? Or a giant lobster? Or an extra city beneath your feet? I don’t think they’re real either. Can you draw that well? Chances are no, so don’t get all huffy because you don’t believe in Santa Claus.

  5. I didn’t notice at first or the second or third time 4 that matter, that the drop box led to Santa’s desk. Very creative and neatly done.

  6. good things:
hes a good, correction, great artist. alot better than i can do

    bad things:
the picture still does not look realistic enough

he left his chalk sitting there!

and the angles/perspective is a bit off

  7. I love those sidewalk drawings! I wish they had those where I live. They are so neat! We did used to have some sidewalk drawings of big giant footprints that looked like a giant walked down the street years ago for a couple of blocks but now they are gone and no colorful drawings like these anywhere around here.
