Incredible Mazes Illusion

Optical Illusion of the day widget for Mac Dashboard currently doesn’t work. It keeps loading for ever. However, Michael made a fix for it and I already uploaded it to Apple’s homepage. Now we have to wait a day or two for them to approve it. After that, you’ll be able to re-download the new 3.2 version that will work. Stay tuned for more info. PC widget and Google gadget work perfectly though. In the mean time, you can shorten your waiting time by solving these mazes posted to us by Adrian Peña. Adrian really made an effort and got permission from Walter, the maker of these amazing mazes below.

Here’s what Adrian wrote: “His (Walter’s) mazes have been in several books and newspapers like “Ripley’s Believe it or Not” for making the biggest maze ever. He also made the world’s biggest internet maze. It is huge, I downloaded it but it was lagging a lot, he also has a smaller version. Any ways, this guy is an expert at making mazes, his room is all covered in them and he made some for some companies. Well the largest maze on the internet (which I didn’t sen today, though I might send it later if you want) has exactly 2,534,438 dead ends! He counted them because he made it but that is how good he is.”

OK this one is great, it has both Ireland and Britain and you have to make your way from Dublin, Ireland to London, UK.

Second one is called crack, and it’s unique because all the wall are in different angles but it is still a type of maze.

The next one is called Sarah, and it is huge, you have to get to the center of the maze.

The next one he named Tangent is cool because it has no dead ends, but it’s made to make you go in circles.

  1. Usually I have no problems finding words, however, all I have to say for the mazes I have seen here this morning…

    Way Cool…

  2. Not bad, but i prefer illusions. These aren’t really illusions. We need some more ‘spot the objet’ ones or ones that don’t make sense LOL

  3. i completed one of them! But god was it hard! it took me aaaaaaaaages but still at least i got there! staring at a computer isnt the best thing to do so i did it again and again. it was the map one

  4. I used to enjoy doing mazes as a id. I think my optic nerve will throttle my brain if I try to do these ones, though.
    Kudos to whoever made these.

    Also, I love this site.

    1. At the bottom (click it to enlarge it, then look at the very bottom of the main section)

  5. The First one is a cheat!! the main entrance is at the bottom! but this doesnt lead to the centre! there is a good way to cheat these. there are about 15 exits that leave the maze. I copied the maze into Paint and covered all the exits and did a “fill” in the Middle…. it goes no where near the main entrance!!!!

  6. It is practically impossible to get from Dublin to London by maze. Rather impractical considering we have airfare. Or you could go by boat.

  7. I did the tangent one. Pretty awesome, and it didn’t take as long as I thought it would tto finish it.

  8. I can’t believe no one mentioned “Sarah” is a homage to the movie “Labyrinth” in which the main character, “Sarah” has to navigate an impossible labyrinth to the center. At least, I’m fairly sure that’s what the author had in mind when they created it.
