Another impossible object for you! Am not sure which number in row this one is, but anyway here it is… This one was drawn and submitted by fan called Alex. This is what he said: “I drew this impossible illusion in canvas (a drawing program). Every time I see an impossible illusion on your web site I rush home and draw.”
Does this qualify as impossible? I believe I could make it out of a cardboard box.
yes you could but it would be still impossible :)
it is not possible
Ooooh, that makes my brain spin!
It’s quite simple actually. the illusion is that the one in front is a side of the box, whereas it as actaully the bottom.
the illusion dissolves if you have atop veiw. the supposed front “side” is actually part of the bottom.

mmmm weird n confusin ? ? ? ?
It looks like its looping over itself. And guys, dont get out the solution, please. It takes out all the fun :(
I really like drawing isometric stuff, but I have a hard time drawing illusions. I’m working on it though.
yeah, i think this can be made from a box. just cut out a triangular piece from the front vertical side, angling from the lower corner, up and left so that the slant matches the line of the bottom of the right vertical side. wow, that was confusing to even type.
I knew how he drew it. It’s simple though. He just drew a regular rectangular cardboard, and overlapped one side over the other
wow that is the best ive seen IMPOSSIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
please dont go hexplaininthem please!
it really ruins the fun! im talkin 2 u darkholm!!!!!
its ok, i suppose!!!
It’s a 2D drawing so it doesn’t seem as confusing as most of the other illusions. Pretty cool though. Oh and Darkholm, Dudet007 is right. Don’t spoil the fun.
Come on!!!Who are you kidding??? Google ” M.C. Escher ” !!!
omg this is well off it so confusin
weak
it’s quite easy ..i tried the illusion and i did it…
i make the thing wit paper and it works its not impossible i say
This is not impossible , all you do is cut the edges of the front side so that it falls inside the box, and it makes the exact shape. But without cutting anything, yes it is impossible.
the left side is a mirror image of the right
yes, one dimensional drawings can always be made to depict impossible three dimensional geometrics; see MC Escher
