Today’s illusion comes from Kovacs, who sent it in to the Mighty Optical Illusions Facebook page. Take a look at the image below and ask yourself how many girls are in this photo?
At first glance, you probably want to say that there’s a big long line of girls. You may have even tried to count them. But, as you look down the line of girls, at each individual girl in particular, do you notice something a little odd? Were some of the girls repeating?
So, exactly how many girls are in this photo?

That’s it! There are only two girls here. They are simply sitting between two mirrors. Each mirror is reflecting the girls and the other mirror, making it look like an almost never ending line of girls. The fact that they’re wearing matching uniforms and have similar hair makes this illusion even better!
It’s definitely a pretty cool illusion, and if I ever see two mirrors set up like this, I’m definitely trying this!

at first I thought it was 4 people and that they might be using twins. then reconsidered and realized it was only 2.
