Grey Colored Squares Illusion

The image below is called “Color Vision Demonstrations”, and was done in 1998 by Hans Irtel. If I told you that fields A and B are of the same color, would you believe me? Try opening this picture in adobe photoshop, and see it for yourself. If you still don’t belive your eyes, look at the “Colored Squares Illusion” it has perfectly explained answers.

  1. Alternately, you can open it in Paint, use the eyedropper to get the color of one of the columns and fill the other parts with that color. You’ll see that the color is the same!

  5. if you put your fingers horizontally across the picture, one above the a one below the b you’ll see that they are the same color

  7. I can’t see that they are the same colour! I did everything! I squinted, I put one finger above the A and one finger below the B and the other way round and I even did what the person who posted this told me to do. The only good thing is that I can’t see3 no blue dot.
