Flying Through City Stereogram

Frans-Jan Wind sends beautiful, yet scary illusion of a city. Wait for the image to load (or open it full size), and you will feel like flying through a city! Just like Christopher Walken did in his very own optical illusion. Be sure to check Scary Spider as well, but I warn you, those of you that suffer from arachnophobia or are submissive to seizures, shouldn’t watch these animations for too long :) Here’s Wind’s explanation: “I found this illusion on a very nice acid house and minimal techno site. (Don’t know about copyrights…) What I saw at first was not what was happening. For a moment I thought I went through the city instead of watching a loop…” For similar check: Stereo Dino, 3D Fireplace, Stereo Forrest, Tube Of Illusion

  1. Very awesome. It is good that there are some moving Illusions on this website, and in the Widget. This one makes you want to move your head closer and closer, and sort of draws you in. Hurts your eyes after a while of staring :P

  2. WOW, aside from the fact i feel like im going to have a building thrown at me… it also makes me feel like im ganna have a seizure

    1. omg! yes! like when you stare at the top most part of the building, “face” appears in your peripheral vision ^^ ahahaha, and I thought I was the only one who can see….xD ahaha

  3. heh i was so fooled by this that the buildings actually look bigger to me now than when i started looking at them. that is, they dont seem to shrink subconsciously backwards every now and then like most of these things do.

    … Er, I hope you understood that… I’m not sure I did…

  4. i just realized the 2 different colors
the white and black on is in one spot
the black and white is like 1/2 an inch away so it looks like its moving…
the spider one was much better..i didnt realize it on any of these kid of illusion until i saw this one
p.s white and black means more white
black and white means more black
