Fictional Art by Jacek Yerka

Hello, it’s Colin the co-editor again! I’m baaacckkkkk! This time we have some cool art with many different illusions implemented inside these photos. The art pieces you see, are made by Jacek Yerka, who uses pastels and canvas to make these cool paintings. Mostly I like them because they look nice, but some of them are quite Escherian in their perspectives. Also, the strawberry tree is awesome!

Jacek writes about the selection of his pieces: “…a project is then presented to the Family Jury (my wife and 4 daughter), that in most cases issues the rejection sentence, accompanied with bitter and negligent comments. Usually such a verdict is followed by unnecessary family tension and door slamming.” How many different illusions can you spot here? If you look at the top picture, the ladder turns into a train track that goes across the landscape – Colin

  1. Very Nice. Wish these were high resolution images. There’s a lot of detail in these paintings and it would be nice to zoom in and really examine them.

  3. don’t normally write a comment but couldn’t help myself…these are so cool, love them to bits!

  4. None of that art is fictional. The subject of the art may be fictional, but the art itself is not.
