Faces in an Apple Optical Illusion

Happy Black Friday! The day when shoppers push and shove and trample each other to get their hands on still overpriced junk! Oh well. More power to them, I guess. I’ll just do my shopping online and still save a nice little chunk of money.

In my Internet shopping travels, I ran across a pretty interesting painting yesterday of an apple illusion…

The outlines of the face profiles are formed by the bitten apple. The features of the face, like the eyes ears and brows, are formed by parts of the trees on either side. This apple illusion reminds me of the story of Adam and Eve; you can even see the snake forming the green haired man’s ear.
