The Desktop Necromancer

Remember our little dragon? It was one of the coolest illusions, that you could even print out, cut and do it yourself. There was even super-cool video showing you the effect. Well I just found this similar little character. It’s not so illusionary as dragons can be, but still you can print this hansom fellow out onto photo paper or card, cut and stick together and let the world know where you stand on the subject of un-dead magicians. I find it an ideal ornament for a desk or window sill. It can sit happily on TVs and old cathode ray monitors. There are instructions and blueprints on this website.

  1. this is really weird! I liked the Drago way better than this one.

This one is not quite an illusion and isn’t nice to look at either.

Do you know where I could find infos about creating other cool (maybe with a little illusion) 3D objects from paper?

    1. im eight and the dragon kinda scared me :D lol :D keep up the good work vurdlak!!!

  2. lol nice! i have the dragon here :) when i have time i’ll make this :)

The illusion is that the “monster” is always looking to you, it even “moves” the head (the dragon works very well).

    yey my first post :)

  3. It would be really neat to see someone come up with a conversion for this that worked the way the folded dragon does. Now *that* would definitely be ‘illusiony’!

  4. Tha dragon was cool. It’s like those posters for perfume in stores. Now the people on THOSE things follow you around!

Hey Vurdlak everytime I post a comment now the pop-up box is in German! How the heck do I getm ti in english!?

  5. You have 2 look at the necromancer’s SEPTRE to see the illusion. The skull on top of it is the illusion. (at least that what I understood ^_^)
@ avenger13, I know a really cool site called CUBEECRAFT. It’s one of the best sites on the net.
