Andreas Hauer Piekarz from Paraná, Brazil took this magnificent photo of him holding a Nature’s Cup. It’s widely known that Brazil won countless World Cups in football (soccer), so I believe that this illusions is more than appropriate. The only thing I don’t understand, why this sport isn’t popular in North America as well, USA to be more precise. Dunno, but let’s give Andreas opportunity to explain his submission: “This is the famous cup present in the Vila Velha State Park (Brazil – Paraná – Ponta Grossa). This Park has many Arenites. The arenite area is the result of an extraordinary work of nature sculpted by time. Three hundred forty million years ago an ice layer covered the whole region. With the defrost, a great deposit of sand exiting there became exposed to the action of rain and wind creating gigantic figures in the sandstone such as a camel, an Indian, a fiancée, a boot, a sphinx and the famous cup.” Another ball illusion can be found here.

Maybe I’m wrong, but I’ve heard that the reason soccer isn’t popular in the US is because we prefer high-scoring games, like football and basketball, while in soccer a game could just end in a paltry 1-2.
