Butterfly wings have always fascinated me a little. They’re so delicate, but at the same time strong enough to carry an insect in flight. Some butterflies are also insanely beautiful with intricate patterns and designs on their wings. The design on a butterfly’s wings can even help protect them from predators looking to eat them, by mimicking the look of a much larger animal. Probably the best example of this is the butterfly wings that look like the eyes of an owl.
This is definitely a pretty wicked butterfly illusion, isn’t it? Too bad it’s not for real, though, at least I don’t think. I’m pretty sure this is Photoshopped, but that doesn’t make it any less beautiful!
