Emma (Jane) Hack is an artist whose biography we mentioned more than few times on this site (check Emma-related posts here). Her main interests include: bodypaint and camouflage. If you are new to this site you may find this extremely original, but if you’ve been following us for some time – you’ll find this approach familiar, yet these photos were never before posted on this site. Which of the following photos is your favorite one? This time I haven’t included gallery approach, so let’s see if you like this better. Emma Hack Brings Body Art To a New Level

Ok, then more Creative Drawings it is! I’ve asked you in my previous post if you liked it enough to post a sequel, and apparently you did. This may as well be the first time in history we have a post that lacks a single negative comment! As I usually tend to listen to my audience, my tomorrow article will give you the rest of Remy’s submission, but as an “interlude” between posts, today I’m giving you more of the Emma Cammack’s bodypaint. Who doesn’t like bodypaint! We’ve seen her body art before, but it’s a mystery to me weather her real name is Emma Hack or Emma Cammack. She obviously goes by the both names, one of them being a pseudonym or artistic name of some sort. Another mystery for us to solve!

In this set, Emma brings body art to a new level. Using the naked bodies as canvases, and incorporating the backgrounds, gives us the illusion of a flat surface in which the bodies are so well camouflaged against wall coverings, it’s hard to even see them. Be sure to notice some of her “Evolution” collection photos contain actually painted animals! God knows what PETA would say about this…

P.S. I hope you’re all serious enough to see this as “Art”. No need for me to digress further.

As requested, here’s more of the Emma Hack’s body art. Body paint posts lately tend to relate strongly with body camouflage. Is it a new trend? You tell me! Probably it’s because not much interesting can be done on this field, except camouflaging naked bodies or painting clothes on them – Expecting flames from body paint lovers community :) As seen, Emma’s canvas of choice is the human body. This time she was using wallpaper designed by Florence Broadhurst, and then hack painted models to match their background. Emma managed to make them literally disappear into the wall, creating an effect that even the best photoshop jockey would be hard pressed to replicate. What I realized right now (when look previous posts) is that Emma had different surname before, is it because she got married? Or did I connect this post with completely different artist? Let’s investigate!

Emma-Jane Cammack – Body Paint Part II

Emma-Jane Cammack, a freelance body painter whose photos we published week ago, created another gallery dedicated only to optical illusions. She creates all sort of bodypaint, but my favorite ones are those involving camouflage and illusions. You can see some of the examples below. All 3 of these were already featured in one way or another, without the body paint touch. Which one is your favorite? Can you tell, apart from the camouflage part, what is the illusion in them? If you’re asking yourselves how come I haven’t posted so often lately, it’s partly because of a slow connection I have here. Those of you who haven’t heard, I’m on vacation (Korcula again in Adriatic see). Another reason could be because I’m diving a lot, swimming and going out – so little time is left for me to update the website. But have no fear… I’ll find extra hour or two daily to do some work on Moillusions – best optical illusion website on the net! Enjoy!

Emma-Jane Cammack – Body Paint Illusions

Just stumbled upon this in my mailbox! Emma-Jane is a freelance body painter and artist based in the UK. Her body art has been seen around the world in adverts, billboards, tv, magazines, calendars, on packaging and in all kinds of other media. Emma has worked on projects with Sting, Elton John, Claudia Black, and many celebrities and sports stars. She works hard to find new avenues for body art to help it become a recognized and accepted art form. She is also on the board of directors of the World Face and Body Art Alliance, also is working with other British body painters to form the British body painting association. This is the statement that can be found on her website: “As a bodypainter I am interested in celebrating the body and exploring how creative I can be using this exciting alternative canvas. I don’t think bodypainting needs to be about sex, for me a body is simply another canvas but one which can move and has its own attitude.” Now, if all these photos weren’t enough for you, I recommend visiting the appropriate category, and checking all the links I have created in this text – you will see many examples of the divine body paint techniques!
