3D Shiva Stereovision

Luke Brown, an author of this fabulous optical illusion-animation is an intrepid explorer. He is part of a new generation of visionaries who reconstructed the templates of culture as we know it. His art speaks of the spiritual mysteries in the human imagination – best example can be seen below! Mystical experiences, dreams, medicine journeys, and channeled lucid dialogs with the source of creativity itself, seem to guide and be guided by the colorful symmetries and living surfaces of his art. Luke is constantly redefining his style as a spiritual medium for growth. He is intent on mapping his hyper spatial experiences with utmost accuracy, with whichever medium seems best suited, as a form of multidimensional cartography. This picture I attached below is made from few layers. It provides us with wonderful illusion of god Shiva in 3D. More awesome 3D stereoscopes can be found inside this category.

  1. You can use a bittorrent this can distribute the burden on downloading the file between the people whois doing the download it self. Check it out on http://www.bittorrent.com/, this is a opensource project and it has several (open and closed) clients.

  2. what is so illusive about it? You can take few screen caps from 3d video and make a gif of anything? why is this here and why only HINDU GOD?

  3. Shiva’s wife is not Kali!! Shiva’s wife is Parvati, the mother of their children: Ganesh…
On the other hand..the illusion is quite cool, but I’ve seen better ones-

  4. Shiva is god of destruuction, Vishnu god of creation and brahma. the big god, kinda like thge father son holy ghost,

shiva is cool, life is temporary and when you got to go (die) shiva zaps your but, cool stuff, hindusim,

  5. Shiva is the god of destruction from the Hindu religion, and one of the three main gods along with Brahma and Vishnu. Brahma is the god of creation, while Vishnu is the god of upkeeping. So Brahma is the creator, Vishnu is the caretaker, and Shiva is the destroyer. Despite this, Shiva is still a benign god.

And that’s your crash course on the three main Hindu gods!

  6. wow thats so freakin cool atfirst i thought the computer was playing tricks on me but then i noticed that it wasn’t

  7. FYI that is nothing like shiva. Im a hindu…..and……this pic is just plain wierd!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  8. Impressive picture (I mean the animated one). I’ve never seen anything like this. But as far as I remember Shiva has 8 arms… Never mind :)

  9. Shiva is the Hindu God of destruction (the third part in our trinity). He destroys evil and as for his physical characteristics, he has flowing hair tied into a knot in which he contains a goddess (Ganga: a river) and has a third eye in the middle of his forehead that will open at the end of the world (Armageddon) and enerything will burst into flames. Also, he wears a tiger skin and has a comtemplative life. His Wife is Parvati, his son is Ganesh/Vinayak (with an elephant head). He is also the god of dance.

But i can see how this beautiful illusoin can be extrapolated into Shiva.

  10. these r cool but i think that u need to put more stereograms where u have to cross ur eyes…the magic eye ones…

  11. these stereos are so wrong..
if u make it like this it will be like usual 3d images.. u must let the images separated and let our eyes find it out, and it will make us see the real 3d like jump out from the monitor..

  12. i love the idea of shiva and devadasi’s if anyone has info on these topics drop it on my facebook. bella gordon with and eclipse thingie as a pic

  13. To anyone who cares;

Brahma-Vishnu-Shiva are the three heads/aspects of GOD; the creator-preserver/sustainer-destroyer. The 3 together are called Trimurthy. They are not wholly separate entities… but they are also potrayed as separate and sometimes warring/conflicting personas.

Shiva’s Consort is commonly known as Parvathi. But she has her own alter-egos as well, as Shakthi and Kali. So, Kali, Shakthi and Parvathi are the same Goddess…

BTW, the name Shiva is relatively new to the Trimurthy concept. Ancient scriptures mention another name, Rudra (instead of Shiva). Shiva was probably a south Indian super-deity incorporated into what was then a North Indian religion (maybe 3,000 years ago). This amalgamated religion is known today as Hindusim.

There never was a united religion, with consistnt theology called Hinduism… ever. That’s why it kicks ass. Always room for debates and discussions.

  14. I guess no one is Hindu above so no one knows well. I am a hindu( i am not saying i know all abt it) Brahma Vishnu Maheshwora are three gods of gods. there are more than 3o million gods in this religion and these 3 are the gods of other gods and Shiva is one of many form of Maheshwor (Maha + ishor) which means Great + God. . But the 3d graphics is not showing anything about Shiva. the color matches to one of Maheshora’s avatar Nilkantha (Blue throat coz of drinking poison to save tthe world) Other than that i can see nothing resembling to him whatsoever and 3 faces i dont understand. three faced is another god Brahma. The athiest guys knows nothing as the name says what he knows is wrong concept too. Hinduism is quite an old religion and as u can c now growing popular in west too.(U know Yoga)the sanskrit is the oldest language . By the way Sanskrit forms the basis of Hindu civilization Buddhism and hinduism .
so its upto u too believe abt the religion how old and consistent is the religion itself

  15. This isn’t a illusion. You can tell by right clicking and saving the picture as a “.JPG”. then open the file and it doesn’t move. “.GIF” files can be animations. “.JPG” files are ONLY images. Nice try though.
    Thanks
    David

  16. Since the idea of “God” is open to individual interpretation; why can’t you call this image anything you want? Plus it’s pretty and fun to look at!
