Miwa Miwa created this cool optical illusion. He gave us premission to show it, so here it is! If you concentrate on the person figure in the middle of the vertigo, you’ll get an impression everything arround him is spinning, and the person appears falling. Really nice illusion, I must say. Visit Miwa’s website for more.

Wonderful billboard (advertisment) optical illusion just came in, submitted by our fan – Daniel Comar. It’s basically commercial for duracell batteries. They are apparently so strong, that they manage to run king-size shopping mal escalator :) Here’s what Daniel wrote:

Hi, I’m a fan of your blog. Keep it up. Thought you might want to feature this one. It was a advertising sticker done by Ogilvy Malaysia for Duracell in Kuala Lumpur. It has just got Silver Pencil in One Show. They are basically 2 floor stickers pasted on top of each other. The screws are printed. Cheers, Daniel “

This has to be one of the coolest illusions ever! To my knowledge, John Sadowski is the original creator of this type of illusions. This is how it works: just stare at the dot for 30 seconds. This is animated gif file, that keeps repeating infinately. After about 20 seconds, grey scaled image of spanish castle will appear, but as your eyes adapt to the inverted image you were seeing first, you will see black&white image change to COLOR! Amazing! For original, full sized illusion, visit John’s website. There is also a movie clip available. If you would like to make your own Color Illusion, you should read this tutorial. If you make one, be sure to post link in comments! Previously we posted simmilar illusion. Check it here.

After few debates, we finally managed to figure out all of the transparent desktops, PSPS, Screens… Remember? Well today we give you some more material to keep you occupied. I really have no idea how this guy managed to make his laptop transparent, even when he keeps moving it! Please help me figure out this movie clip. I would like to thank Rohtop for sending us this incredible illusion! Here’s what Rohtop wrote on this one: “Hey Vurdlak, I saw some vid that shows the transparent screen illusion, maybe you saw it already I don know. There’s a link in my attachment. Very cool! Keep up the good work with your site, I love it very much.”

Title says it all. Help me “see this one” – if you look at the image from sides, narrow your eyes, or simply step away from your monitor, silhouette of a famous person wil appear. I’m just not sure if it’s Benjamin Franklin or George Washington or someone third… Previously I posted simmilar illusion of Einstein which can be found in Celebreties Category, along with other simmilar ones posted at the bottom of the Spot The Object Category.

Still tired, no sleep, disregard the title, has nothing to do with reality… Ever been awake two days in row? Don’t know how others react, but when I don’t get much sleep (I need about 12 hours of beatuy sleep per day to feel fresh) I feel like in a dream, hallucinating, changing mood from ultra-hyperactive to dead tired… Probably, you’re not here to listen to me (I never liked “blogs” where people share their problems and bore others to death with their online-bridget-jones-diaries-confessions), so here’s a challenge for you: I have no idea what text to write about this optical illusion below, so help me, put it in the comments, think-up your own story board and background for this flick, and maybe I’ll put it in this post next time I edit it. Am off! …to bed.

Just to inform you, that I have really important exam in two days! It’s really important for me to pass it, so please keep your fingers crossed ;) Maybe your positive energy combined, will tunnel to my teacher’s mind (in some unnatural way), jumping through hyper-space and help me pass.. hehe, not really sure, but can’t do any harm if you try it. So keep them crossed, just in case. Expecting positive feedback on this one ;) Don’t listen to me, I hadn’t got much sleep last few days so am probably babling nonsence… Anyway, here’s another illusion for you! Not much to be said on this one, we all know picture is worth thousand words – and this is the case, with this Shakespeare “portrait”… Or is it Maximilien Robespierre? You tell me…

Hehe, was just messing with Firefox Web Browser the other day. It’s much more secure than Internet Explorer. It kind of reminded me of a funny picture I had somwhere on my hard disk. After some hard work, I finally located it and now I share it with you… It’s posted below this text. Do you see what’s strange about it? I’ll let you decide…
