David Horm sent this few weeks ago, but I noticed it in my mailbox just recently. David: “Here’s a little conversation I had with my friend while walking pass this sign in Seattle:
Friend: What the F***, Mac Store?
Me: Yeah, there’s always been a Mac store here.
Friend: No, that sign says “WTF Mac Store”
Me: No it doesn’t, it says “The Mac Store”
…and so we stood there arguing for another 2 minutes about what the sign says. When he showed me how he read THE as WTF, I though it’d be a cool optical illusion you could show to your readers.”
My question is: How do you see it? I had some troubles reading THE, since WTF was first variation I recognized. Jump inside this post to see outlined letters for both cases!

If you can’t figure out what’s the secret behind his levitation, read the comments in Johan Lorber post, and I believe you’ll come to solution. This picture was submitted by Laura Adomaityte and this is what she wrote: “This photo of Flying Yogi was taken in Amsterdam few days ago by my friend! Awesome, isn’t? Best regards!”. What’s with all those levitation illusions lately, seems these tricks are becomming popular every day!

Another impossible object for you! Am not sure which number in row this one is, but anyway here it is… This one was drawn and submitted by fan called Alex. This is what he said: “I drew this impossible illusion in canvas (a drawing program). Every time I see an impossible illusion on your web site I rush home and draw.”

This is what Fabian wrote next to his two photos (jump indside this article to see second image): “Hi I’ve found these pictures on the internet and thought they would fit into your blog perfectly! Theses graffitis are all about freedom und look very realistic!”

Daryl Toops of icdst.com wrote: “Designed by me back in 1994. I was trying some ideas based on MC Escher’s waterfall, and came up with the center design. Later in art school, I designed the outside curves with a compass. I still have the original artwork inked on vellum, with amberlith layers cut out for the colors. I recreated it in illustrator a few years later. This is a 600×600, 72 dpi jpg file for web use.” I hope you people like this illusion. Thanks to Daryl for this original submission!

Shari Spark, from Allentown – PA sent in this giant bird optical illusion. He gave this explanation: “This small, er…rather large common sparrow was spotted on top of this building in Israel. Actually it was taken in Mini-Israel, a scaled model of the country – the bird made himself right at home on the roof and probably felt like a giant!”
