The below optical illusion was created by John Pugh, he is an artist that does excellent trompe l’oeil (French for trick the eye) murals. Magazines wrote: “John Pugh’s trompe l’oeil murals are so lifelike they cause mishaps and confusion for the unsuspecting. In 1981, after the completion of his first major project, the mural on Taylor Hall on the CSU, Chico campus, several fender benders occurred because motorists were distracted by what looks like a gaping hole in the building.”

wow! I wonder if he’s ever done any from the inside of a building. I want one in my bedroom.
Reminds me of Wile E. Coyote painting a tunnel on the side of a mountain…
ohhh cool
thats really cool
coolertz
=-)
I agree with Christain 101! JESUS YOU ROCK ON!
good thing no one ever think of going through that wall because it will be a big big BUKOL(tagalog)
Woah… is that bottom person real? I don’t think so because of the shadow on the painting, though. Assuming the painting is the gaping hole, though.
This is so smart. I was really confused when I saw the shadow of the woman in the third painting and took me a bit of time to realise the woman is fake as well because the feet don’t interact with the floor…
cool!
the last one is so WOW!!!
i would probably run into the wall trying to go into it
i wonder how he did that
Those are really good painting.
At first I thought that it was real life situation.
hhhhhhhhmmmm
