Eduardor Relero’s Chalk Drawings

As I added in Luke’s previous post, our co-bloggers started really productive. Luke immediately composed another awesome article, containing some of the never before seen 3D pavement art photos. Read his article and check for more photos inside. There you can also find same locations, just shot from different angles. – Vurdlak

Eduardor Relero has made these amazing chalk drawings in the streets of Spain. However, this don’t look like your average Julian Beever drawings, each one could contain a hidden message about poverty or death such as “Amnesty International“, but I’m stumped for what these pictures could mean. I especially like the rich man or women holding the gun, it took me a while to see that. I also like the baby head and the skull drawings because they’re done so well! I appreciate the skull one more though, because if you look closely at the background the sun appears to be right above the drawing, but the drawing itself seems to create its own light source. How amazing is that?

Draw yourself to the article and see his brilliant creations. For now i say Muy Bien Eduardor! – Luke

  1. i also am fond of chalk drawings and the building paintings. this is a different style vs the other ones on this site. i like it.

  2. Does anyone have a theory on the message of the couple sitting on the plank? or what about the woman feeding the baby head?

  3. I think that the baby head one might have something to do with the infant mortality rate in countries…the county (my geography has yet to be desired) might be represented by someone with a big head…?

  4. these things are so cool…in the pictures it looks like its standing up but its not i love how it does that :P

  5. yo dude this is like this like is TOTAL like my possy will be bummed i saw this before them like total
dudes im of to eat tofu burgers like that fat woman on a bench!

  6. These are cool, but I like Julian Beever’s more. They seem more realistic and “modern.” That’s just my opinion, though.

  7. Luke3x, it’s all very Freudian and metaphoric with existential…wait a minute! What is that doing to that stoneface carving’s head?!

  8. ALL HAIL BONSLY
Bonsly is my god. He comes to me when I am asleep and when I am awake.
And now… An Ode to Bonsly!!!
    Erm… I can’t think of one.

  9. All very interesting picture, drawn in a highly
    skilled manner.

But the one thing in common is that all the characters sure are BUTT-Ugly. Why? ? ? ?

What’s wrong wth someone having a go at an
intepretation of the Venus de Milo or another beautiful looking creation? Or a beautiful, wild animal?

    The characters aren’t even ‘so-ugly-they-are-kinda-beautiful’ Nope-just plain ugh-ly.

  10. The Creator gave this dude perception capabilities out of this world, omg! Painting 3D vertical images on the flat plain that remains fixed flat… I’m freaking out here. And if these were done on a portable platform that was raised vertical they’d theoretically remain the same, except for the human subjects would fall off unless there were camouflaged pegs for them to perch upon. Bravo, Eduardor!

  11. I like these more than the “usual” 3D chalk drawings. Those are definitely more illusory, but these are much more artistic.
