I saw this photo few months ago, but somehow completely forgot about it – until today. I was reminded of it by Jason Ahn. I love all the things that have something to do with sea and summer so this photo was really joyful for me. If you are long time reader, you will recall [...]
This photo was taken two days ago, on my vacation. As you see, the ship appears to be flying above see level. Offcourse it’s just another optical illusion. You can jump inside this article to see another photo that shows you what it’s all about!
Obviously beeing inspired by “Two Buses” and “Painted Trucks” or maybe even “Plummer Illusion”, our regular visitor Lucas Cantor sent us this picture of a painted van. Normally, you get impression of some cool lamborgini/ferrari parked just next to Trotter’s yellow van ;). Thanks Lucas for this submission!

This is a great optical illusion. Here we have a Lufthansa and a United 757 landing at the same time on parallel runways at the San Francisco International Airport. These two airplanes are separated by about 200 meters. Still looks impossible! Illusion of two merging planes in midair seems real because Jumbo being three times [...]
