Wow! This one’s pretty spectacular! Like a negative photo of a Man Holding a Sun. Same idea as that one, only here we have Moon instead of a Sun, and girl instead of a man. It’s easy to produce such an illusion, but it’s hard to make it come up beautiful as the example below. [...]

Jason Rehmus emailed me this amazing photo of a man “painting” the Moon during a lunar eclipse. The photo was originally taken by Laurent Laveder, and is part of the Top 10 Astronomy Images of the year 2006. Probably we’ll be seeing many “Best Of 2006″ stuff, as the year passed us by. Hope you [...]

Rob Clement has another relative sizes optical illusion for us. In my humble opinion it’s not as good as Church illusion or Man Holding a Sun, but still gave me few laughs! Here’s what Rob wrote: “Here’s my brother leaning up against the giant tree at the Mall of Georgia. I’ve also attached a regular [...]

You’ll probably notice something fishy going on with this ice-skating pair. Yes, you guessed it right, it’s another miniature set presented as real life illusion – something similar was done in the past with this teddy bear and small table model. The reason I posted this, is to help Ludo find author of these photos. [...]

Notice anything strange with this teddy bear? It looks big, but not so cute… Then again, maybe you should check inside this article for solution. But first try and guess what is the optical illusion. After you saw second photo, admit it – have you realized it before? Comment your findings please! If you like [...]

Carlos Saraiva says: “Lightning McQueen is a toy in my hands”. Simple as that. This submission is one of the cutest I have ever received. Really bumps my spirit in time of forthcoming Christmas hollydays. As you probably concluded by now, this photo is real (no editing), and gives you impression this cute toy car [...]

It seems Jean-François Capdet from Saleilles is a fellow European :) He mailed me two photos I’m placing as we speak. It’s Pisa Tower photographed under two different angles. Some of you probably browsed our full archive and found original Pisa Tower Illusion, some of you that didn’t read carefully: We have all heard (or [...]

Hehe, this one came up really funny! This statue looks unbelievable to be placed at the center of town’s square. I’m sure all of you by now understood how it was done. The actual photograph was taken at the angle where two statues make single, funny one. Did you like it? I had another cool [...]

“Here are a few pics we took in Yosemite a few years ago. I was reminded of these when I saw the “Sun in Hand” post. Thanks!” – Matt. As you can see these guys had really fun time taking those pictures. I liked first one the best! You can find more similar illusions posted [...]
