Daryl Toops of icdst.com wrote: “Designed by me back in 1994. I was trying some ideas based on MC Escher’s waterfall, and came up with the center design. Later in art school, I designed the outside curves with a compass. I still have the original artwork inked on vellum, with amberlith layers cut out for [...]

Daniel Shiu and Andrew Lipson must have worked their butt off to construct these wonderfull Lego recreations of Escher’s work! They started this project after they finished rendition of Escher’s “Ascending and Descending”, making it 4th Escher picture rendered in LEGO. No camera magic tricks (like David Blaine uses ;), but the picture was taken [...]

This image is one of the most recognized among M.C. Escher’s work. Escher titled it “Relativity”, and we can clearly conclude why. You might also wan’t to check Escher’s “Ascending” and “Waterfall” which were posted here on Mighty Optical Illusions in the past.

Who ever drew these must be a real artist and true Escher fan. Magnificent! Did you see previous imossible structures constructed in real life? If not jump to “Lego Escher” and “Waterfall”.

Check this out! I was messing around with Google Earth today, and came across a strange MC Escher like image. The image below is from from Chicago, USA. You can see it on Google Local. Why do the buildings seem to be leaning in different directions? Really doesn’t make sense to me. Anyone has his [...]

Remember Audi’s commercial we posted week ago? It was called “Audi in Escher’s World” and you could stream the whole video if you wanted. These two pictures are from the same campaign, only this time it’s about posters. You can see how Audi recognised optical illusions as a quality material for their promotion!
