When I was a kid, I was a big fan of Metallica. On one of their first albums, there was a song titled “The Call of Ktulu”. I didn’t like that particular one so much, but the title was very powerful and stayed in my mind for very long time. Later I found out by [...]

Today I got myself an iPhone (not this one). I’m not some big gadget enthusiast, but the offer was so good, I had to take it. The price was barely $50 (since I used my option to prolong the 2 year business contract with T-Mobile). I’m sure it was a good deal, and that I [...]

This one has to be the best illusion I came across. It’s a scanned flayer for the local dancing school (probably this one). Took some time to see it tough, but when I noticed the illusion I couldn’t stop laughing. I’ll let you figure this one yourselves. No hints from me!

Amnesty International, whose clever ideas we’ve already posted on this site before (dozen of times), released another brave campaign under the title: “See no Evil”. In the mean time here is a funny billboard that was recently spotted by one of our visitors. It’s a funny way to [...]

As I promised, here is the long awaited Part III of the Deceiving Billboards. Including each of these in a separate post wouldn’t make much sense, since their connection with illusion isn’t the strongest one on the market. Still as a collection, all of these billboards “flirt” with optical illusion in one way or another. [...]

Recently, WWF (funny, I thought WWF stands for Wrestle Mania – World Wrestling Federation) released these four billboards with accompanying message – “Preserve Your World, Preserve Yourself”. I cannot lie that I’m fond of these kind of public service campaigns, specially when they involve creativity. Best ones I can remember include campaigns from Amnesty International, [...]
