Andrew was sincerely trying to be helpful[as far as I can tell]. You, on the other hand, were sincerely trying to be a dick[as far as anyone can tell].

P.S.
Writing "have" when you mean to use the world "half" is not a typo. It's not even close. No amount of rushing can make someone that illiterate. Muwahahaha! Suck on my disregard of proper punctuation bit**es!!

You people who felt so compled to point out the homonyme (bare/bear) mistake that was made are pathetic. Andrew's entire critique regarding the homonyme mistake, for example, is completely illiterate. We'll take a look at only a short sample of his work by examining the follow:

"And, not meaning to be rude, but I know you have asked for assistance in learning English – but if you don’t want this advice please ignore…The phrase at the beginning of your post should be “Please BEAR with me”.

First, Andrew should not break the rule of starting a sentence with a conjunction--that is, not unless he knows what he is doing. You must first realize the rule before you can properly break it Andrew. The next thing you write is enclosed within commas as though this is either a parenthetical phrase or an appositive. It is neither. Also, after the second comma you use a coordinating conjunction (but), which tell us that we are being introduced to the second half of a compound sentence. This is rediculous because the first part of the non-sentence does not contain a subject. So, what you have actually written in these few words of jiberish--literally--is this: "I know you have asked for assistance in learning English but not meaning to be rude." Or, "Not meaning to be rude,I know you have asked for assistance in learning English."
I haven't gotten through have of what you have written Andrew, and because I don't have time for this nonsense, I will stop here. Well, maybe one more question. Why did you use capital letters when you wrote bear? I mean, why are you yelling at the person who submitted the illusion? By the way folks, I wrote this quickly because I became so disgusted with the constant petty bullshit of the illiterate grammar patrol that seems to pop up everywhere. (Hey, Andrew! I'm going to start a sentence with a conjunction. I can do this.) And, because I wrote the above hastily, I'll bet you can find a mispelled word or too. Go for it Grammar Patrol!

Great example. And in the widget (small image), the lines appear even more bent - for me they are almost touching and even crossing.

Wow. That's a strong one! With a little effort, I can usually force myself to perceive the straightness in this type of illusions. But not in this one.

Wow, this one is super! It's the best one I've seen of its type. Bravo!

But when you say 'bare with me', what you really mean (I hope!) is 'bear with me'. 'Bear with me' means have patience with me, but 'bare with me' means 'let's get naked!' :-)
