By now, you probably realized I’m not the biggest fan of Google Earth illusions. Don’t get me wrong, its mostly because people who submit these satellite screenshots see illusions everywhere – even when there aren’t any. Today’s illusions was almost ditched from the same reason. I became so judgmental of these type of submissions, that I almost missed an interesting detail in this photo. Luckily, in the last second I managed to see what Frank McAree was trying to explain in his email: “Saw your site featured on the BBC click program, It is fantastic and has renewed my interest in this sort of stuff. I thought you might like this, not really an illusion but attached is a Google Earth image of the Beale Air Force base in California. I think the image on the white building is supposed to be the USAF logo, but given its area 51 connections….” Can you see the illusion? Here is another hint.

No, Peck-er it’s that this is truly the USAF symbol which coincidentally appears like the stereotypical alien life-form face.
It’s definitely the USAF logo but I never realized how it coincidentally can appear as the alien image.

That is mad, only yesterday for all of you from the UK there was a very similar thing in the Sun newspaper. A picture from Google earth showing what looks like the loch ness monster. I have attached the link if your interested

And people, stop trying to guess at things, if you’re not sure about something look it up. Honestly, it sickens me enough how little Americans know about their own troops/government.
The USAF logo is not an eagle– that’s the seal. The logo is a pair of stylized wings with a star/sphere below them, each representing aspects of the Air Force. Look up the image and then compare to the zoomed out satelite image, you’ll see it is quite ironic.

Its the air force logo – those are eagles wings and the ‘mouth’ is just a stlyzed star

It’s an alien face. The wings are the eyes. The dot in the middle is the nose. The bottom is the smiling mouth.
I lived at that particular base for a time. That illusion is no mistake. That particular building is the alien housing. They put up a stylized alien face so they know where to go upon arriving in California.
Nah, just kidding. I did live very very close to the bomb range though…
