Got these two pictures from a visitor of ours, the only problem is that both of us lack the info who created them. As you see, these are some fine pencil artworks picturing not so ordinary hills. Can you spot the optical illusion they hold? If only some of you helped us in finding out who the author is, then we could give him deserved credit. In the mean time enjoy this post, and I’m off to compose another one! By the way, did you like yesterday’s article? We have started opening Mighty Optical Illusions to some guest bloggers who want to spread their word beyond their own blog. If we manage to find enough quality writers, perhaps there will be more than few optical illusions posted daily on this site. Would this be great or what! Agree?

Maybe not in this case (I’ve tried, without sucess), but this site can help you to answer the question about the author of some image.

    http://tineye.com/

It’s an image search where you put an image and the site returns others by similarity.

(Sorry my english, I’m not good in it).

    1. The hills are dogs
    2. A guy laughing and staring @ the sky (im not sure) but lowe pat w/ house is lower lip/”chin”

It would be so awesome if there were hills like that

  23. Eliza Randell says:

I could see the man, but I couldn’t see the dogs until I looked at the title.

  24. Delenn says:

Ok, #21 for No.47, there is NO dog in the second one. And for 20, Anonymous, there is NO dude laughing. There is a face though. Look up from where you think there is a chin. Do you see him? I looked at him and went, “Ummmmmm, Is there actually a person there? I better go check down there at the comments.” For the first picture, I name the hills (left to right) Flatnose and DarkDreams.

Flatnose! Ya gotta love it. It just FITTS him!

Saw the dogs, took me a little longer to see Abraham Lincoln. (Turn sideways and you’ll recognize the profile.)

Judging from the styles, I would say the dog hill to be late 18th century. Probably English because of the windmill and the dogs, which were popular subjects. The second looks more like late 1800′s American. Because of the profile, the mountainous setting and the two colonials in the lower right corner. I wonder if John Wilkes Booth lurks in a corner somewhere.

Hope the hints help you find the artists.
