Hmm, last few days we had a record-low amount of visitors to the site. My only explanation is it has something to do with holidays and stuff, people not being online so much. I hope it doesn’t last. Would be much scarier if actually my illusions started to become boring or uninteresting for you. Either way, I hope the situation passes, and be sure to expect more traditional and high quality illusions in the future. For today I have this one. Artem Fursenko, one of our regular fans and contributors, made an interesting submission. The picture below is part of an online IQ Test, and holds a hidden animal inside of it. Maybe even 3 of them. Which one is it then? Let’s give Artem opportunity to explain it himself: “Bet you didn’t hear from me for a while. So I was taking an IQ test online, and they said there is an animal hidden in this picture, which is either a kangaroo, a bear, or three other animals instead. When I saw it, I thought of your website. Hope you post it.” I don’t see anything… Will you help me?

the kangaroo is upside down on the right side. look at the picture in pieces.thats the only one i see so far.

just above the bird in the right hand corner… connected to the bird is an outline of a kangeroo (upsidedown)… I cant see any more yet… but i;m working on it.

Right in the middle, two shapes from the right. It’s upside down but it is most definitely a kangaroo. Hmm…why don’t I feel any smarter?

I see the moose…head uses the same line as the kangaroo..
It’s an IQ test to see what you find. There is a kangaroo only. The question is trying to see if you recognize it. There are on other animals, so if you thought you saw the bear and marked it down then you would get the question wrong.

Ya it,s probly the holidays but anywyas, the kangaroo is the only one I see and i think the lines around it are darker, is it just me?

I see:
A dog running to the left, it takes up the whole area and its nose is at top left.
A kangaroo that is upside down on the right side and its ears would be on the right lower corner.
I see a fox like animal in the left corner, feet and tail are there, with its head pointing to the center.
I see a bear standing up on its hind legs in the center, it would be a 3/4 with the nose looking forwards and sideways.
I see an eagle to the right, head pointing to the center.
I haven’t looked at any of the links, these are my first impressions. I also see an old lady in a rocking chair, but that isn’t an animal…and also a Hydra. :)

I see the Kangaroo on the right side upside down and a boot on the left side in the middle on its back with the toe up
Reminds me of one of the puzzles in the computer game Pandora’s Box. In that game you would get similar pictures and you’d have to colour them in. Guess you’d have to do the same thing here to see the different animals.

Hey this is a nice activity for little kids =)
I just printed out three copies of this and gave them to my little sisters. Ought to keep them entertained for some time. Except they’re finding a lot more shapes than I anticipated.
