Three Figurines Optical Illusion VideoYou have got to check this animation out! It has potential to overthrow the “Little Dragon Illusion” of the throne as one of the best illusions ever. In short concave figures give the impression they are actually convex (bump out). Same principle we saw in Einstein’s Hollow Face and Magnificent Buddha. You can find few more inside Videos category, but I bet this one is the best for now. The video attached below is made in Flash, and takes some time to load (9 MB). If you have trouble seeing it, you can go to this YouTube link, and see it there. Enjoy! P.S. My head (eyes) still hurt!

  20. Stephen says:

Wow, I have seen this sort of thing before, but these are freakishly good. However, I tried and tried to see them as concave, and eventually I did. I challenge you, It’s really, really hard. Try to see them as concave. Now I’ve seen them as concave, its not so hard to continue to. But I wonder about tomorrow…

Did anyone else notice that these appear to be made of plaster? How did the creator create these shapes? By pressing the animals’ faces into the plaster? lmao!

ps. not animal rights activist – if this is true, I applaud the creator

  22. Alan says:

The great difference with the little dragon illusion is that you can’t print this out and put it together yourself.
