So, I have refreshed the Vista gadget to version 7.0 Please download new version from Vista gadget gallery, so that your gadget can properly auto refresh with new illusions in the future. In the mean time here is a funny billboard that was recently spotted by one of our visitors. It’s a funny way to use optical illusions in public service advertising. Much similar to campaign that was previously used by Comedy Channel. Enjoy!

the illusion is that they use light and shadow to give you the impression of a wave (see the black and white line around the letters)

This is a very weak illusion. I can see the words wobble a tiny bit, but hardly. Whoever made this really didn’t try very hard.

I understand what the illusion is supposed to be (the letters are supposed to move) but I can’t actually see it myself.
Maybe you have to be drunk to see it.
TIP: try to defocus your view from sharp to not sharp. Then it will move like a wave clearly.

Move your eyes around the picture focusing of the letters, if done right the letters seem to move.
ohhhh I get ittt!! The letters have shadows going in different directions so they look crooked, comparing the little paper to your vision whrn you are drunk. C’mon people it took ME, a 14-year-old, to FIGURE THIS OUT!! =)

I can honestly say that this is one of the greatest illusions i have ever seen lol hilarious. How can you not see it!

the words move!! i seen it within 30 seconds at lest or i must be drunk..
how about the fact that when im drunk er i mean ive heard about when others are that one sentence looks like many because of the blurred vision and the yellow color makes me feel uncomfortable because i dont see the red color that makes me hungry for a cheese burger
If you can’t see it – just stare at the middle of the image for a few seconds and you should see the words ‘move’ – as though you are drunk!!

That’s very accurate when you’ve had a few pints too many. That is when you are barely tipsy. If only that sign could induce sleep. That would be much more accurate.
just try to read it a bit faster, and you will notice that the letters are waving at you ;)
When you look at something (words, objects people etc.) you see double (or more) when you have had too much to drink. Has none of you ever experienced this?
