Good news people! We managed to locate an error that has prevented our Yahoo widget to work properly for the last few days. The problem has been located and fixed in less than 30 minutes by Mr. Devicedeveloper from Elance forums. I thank him greatly for this. Now, when we have fixed the widget, it has been sent to Yahoo for approval, and we are just waiting for them to approve the new version. You’ll be able to update in day or so, so stay tuned!
Also, we have finally passed 19 MILLION unique visitors, which means our little website has been visited by more people than some world countries have residents! Who would’ve guessed we have become so popular! Also, we have another present for you! I can’t reveal the details right now, but in a week or so everything should be set for announcement. Considering illusion part, I have uploaded some new stuff from Felice Varini, the guy that made those incredible 3D Rooms. Remember, none of this has been photoshopped, nor digitally manipulated!

on the first picture there is proof that it’s not just a translucent overlay on the picture. if you look at the handrail on the right you can see a white space between it and the wall, which would not be there if the design was placed over the photo in photoshop. Also, in the 10th picture down you can see the design’s reflection in the window on the left.
a lot of them are fake
None of them are fake. These are nationally acclaimed artists who do this all the time. As for painting on these buildings, it’s not paint. They use tape or chalk. It’s all documented on the artists’ various sites.
They use a projection to project the image on the buildings, then just chalk it up. That’s it. It’s very simple, it’s very real, and for all you photoshop enthusiasts, it IS possible to do this in photoshop, it is not the case here.
why does every one get so happy when thay think thay are the first to comment…………..oh yeah nice picters!_!
Wow! These are real? I mean, the designs are really painted inside the rooms? Hard to believe as some are museums and public buildings. But I like them!
I dont believe that these were painted some of these houses look listed like churches they wouldnt allow you to splatter and optical illusion on it. And besides they do look like they have been done on the computer well some of them anyway
probably not paint in the case of the museums and churches. i suppose vinyl could be used to create the effect. it would peel off easily too.
I really enjoyed these… they are very interesting
Look at the 14th picture. Why does the paint go out the window to the sky?
Photoshopped!
Abrc08… is it not possible to paint on windows then?
WOW. These. Look. So. Photoshopped. I know they’re not.. but WOW.
using a projection is an awesome idea, that would make it really easy. I thought it would be really hard to do this. didn’t even think of it.
Actually, Abrc80, it doesn’t go through the window. Doy.
AAAWWWEEEESSSSOOOMMMMEEE! Dude. like. mind blowingly awesome1
Most of them are fake. REALITY CHECK: the Cistine Chapel does NOT have red checkerboard patterns across the ceiling.
Valium… they aren’t permanently painted, they are usually taped or chalked on then removed after an exhibition.
Why is everyone so quick to think they can spot a fake, especially before doing any sort of research.

This kind of artwork should be viewed up close and personal to be appreciated..these are real and not fakes as some skeptics would claim it. just my 2 cents.
They should film this stuff! i wont stand satisfied until i see more angles! less pictures more videos! weeee! ;)
This has got to be the DUMBEST posting I have seen in a long time. ?? what the “F” is the POINT> I guess it is only for TRUE artists, because to a REGULAR person it is just wasted space.
5th one down is sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet
Varini, the artist responsible for these wonderful works of art, explains on his website that he projects the image at night, then uses cranes and scaffolding to go over the outside edges with chalk, and then fills in the image with a homemade type of tape. Here is the link, but it is in French so you might want to use Google Translate if you don’t speak it: http://www.varini.org/04tex/texa12.html&rurl=translate.google.com&usg=ALkJrhjTWmhnWQKcmHP3Oi6u3fPk-Z7sCA
