As I promised, here is the long awaited Part III of the Deceiving Billboards. Including each of these in a separate post wouldn’t make much sense, since their connection with illusion isn’t the strongest one on the market. Still as a collection, all of these billboards “flirt” with optical illusion in one way or another. I’m sure you’ll like some, if not all of them. Comment your reflections, so I can be fully aware what is your standing on this type of posts. Remember, collecting these posters took some time and effort on my side, so I truly hope you’ll share at least some of my enthusiasm. Enjoy! Can someone explain the flags to me? I don’t understand what the illusion is supposed to be.
I enjoyed these illusions – quite poetic in some cases. I think the people inside the lockers were the most intriguing. Are they just stickers on the back wall?

The blanket one is disgusting. What if a younger person glance at this? Huh? This is giving me a bad impression of this website. Although the first one is cool not the blanket. By the way, what’s with the flags?

The flags are beer ads. The Belgian one is meant to look like a mug, and the Brazilian one like a bottle cap.

@anonymous: the belgian flag contains a beer glass and the circle in the brazilian one is shaped like a beer mat/coaster – probably comercials for national beers
@kalthia: #4 shows stickers in rental lockboxes; beneath each coin collector is written in german: caged. because of origin, religion, political conviction… amnesty international stands up for human rights worldwide – support us!

I get all of them, and like them, except for the flags and lockers… what is up with them? Oh! And the car and the Propel, and the McDonalds one. Please explain!

The 4th says “Eingesperrt” which means something like “encaged” or “caught”. I’m not actual sure what AD this is but i guess it’s something with the right-system and not-fair-judging judges. But I’m not sure, hope someone knows better

I got to this illusion after the bed one had been deleted. Can anyone tell me what it was? Or where I could find it? I’m intrigued.
The McDonald’s one is, although none of you guessed, a mix of a hamburger and a coffee bean. ;-)
Number four is for a brand of dog food. It says, “For Stronger Healthier Teeth” Iams.
the flag one is a baggage which means visit wherever the flag is.
well they’re pretty good but i dont understand brazil’s flag but i imagine its a beer company because its the same logo of the palm tree and the sun in the corner and the 1 flag is a jar of beer and the other one is a sun and many bottles
yeah what is the blanket ad/bed ad that everyone is talking about and saying is disgusting? can somebody describe what it was?
