Got this one long time ago, more precisely on February, 11th. It was submitted by Frank Berardi, J SGT MIL USA USACE. I’m not quite sure what SGT MIL and USACE mean, but probably it is something connected to military forces. If you have keen eye for details, and follow this blog regularly, you’ll notice we already had submissions from SGT Berardi. Remember his Afghan Unit logo? Check it out! I apologize for not posting this earlier, since it’s really funny-looking flick as well. Can you guess which horse is looking at you? The answer is trickier than you think! I’m still not quite sure. Frank’s email was expectedly brief and detailed: “You may have seen this, but just in case – I think it is pretty cool.” Hope you all like this one as well. I wish peaceful experience to Mr Berardi and his unit.

Its the horse on the right. notice the mane color
Not the best I’ve seen. Obviously the one on the right. Cute, though.
nice
hehehe, thats a pretty cool photo. Judging by the colour of the hair, the face belongs to the horse on the right
The obvious answer would seem to be the one on the right because of the mane…hmmm….
First Comment!
Nice illusion.
the one facing us the one on the right as the hair is the same
This one is simple for anyone who know horses. The horse one the right is a bay and the one on the left is a chestnut. This is important a bay is a brown horse with a black mane/tail/and legs. A chestnut is a reddish brown horse with the same color mane as the rest of it’s fur. The reason I say coloring is important is because the head of the horse looking at us has a black forlock (the hare coming between his/her ears to the front of its head) and since the forelock is an extension of the mane it belongs to the bay on the right.
(not to mention you can see the tip of the horses mouth behind and just under the neck)
Lovely picture though. I’ve got a few similar “can you tell which” horse pictures I might send in as well.
Very nice illusion.
P.S.

SGT = Sargeant
USACE = United States Army Corps of Engineers
You learn something new every day :)
haha wow that’s cool
the head belongs to the one on the right. you can match the main color, and the muzzle of the one on the right can be seen behind.
ps, if anyone posts just to say “omg! first post!” I think i might be mentally scarred.
The head must belong to the horse on the right as the forelock is the same colour as the mane of that horse. The other horse is a chesnut and you can just see his forelock to the right of the horse’s head. The second horse’s head also appears just behind the first horse.
The head is of the horse on the right – you can tell by the neck muscles. The horse on the left hasn’t flexed his neck muscles so his head is straight.
The Right horse is in front
the one on the right is looking at us. you can see a bit of the left horse’s head in between the right one’s neck and head.
I love this illusion because I have horses and it is almost a perfect illusion. You can tell which body the head belongs to by looking at the color of the mane.
The horse on the left has a chestnut mane, the bay horse on the right has a black mane.
It’s obviously the horse on the right – the forelock (mane hair on the face) is real dark like the horse on the right. The horse on the left has a much lighter mane.
If you look at the colour of each horses mane, it helps to work out which one is looking at you.
its obviously the one on the left you dumb asses.. look at the color of the mane, some people are so thick
There are two halves put together. Theyre not symettrical like they should be.
Lookat the head
Right one. You can see the left on behind it.
This is very obvious to me!
waa ha ha haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!
