How many of you have played 7th Guest? If you are of younger age, you might have missed it, but to share some knowledge, 7th Guest was the first PC game that was released only on CD-ROM. It was an awesome and spooky adventure game, where you had to solve logical puzzles to get out of the haunted castle. It’s sequel was called 11th and received even greater spotlight. Not to make too many digressions, I mentioned all of this just because it inspired me to compose the title for this interesting optical illusion. I believe the photo has been altered in photoshop, but what the heck – it still makes a great illusion. If I told you there are 6 persons present in the photo below, you might think I have finally lost it. Well think again!

Yea, definately photoshoped.
The nose, mouth, and chin almost look on top of the cliff. It looks quite fake to me, considering i hike a lot

there’s something else weird going on here. the head with the white hat seems to be attached to two bodies–one with a blue shirt and red shorts, and another with a yellow shirt and navy shorts. am i crazy?

i agree with zade. there are actually six real people (or seven including the photographer, but they could have just used a tripod to take the picture) and the other person on the cliff.

This is an interesting picture, but once you look at it, there is no way NOT to see the face.
That is totally sweet!!! I stopped it right away, but I realized it was on the wrong side of the face!!!! Silly me!!!

That was insane, i was convinced it had something do with extra shadows or something, and when i saw it, i was like WHOA! and now its the first thing my eye draws itself to…odd….
The game was called ‘The 11th Hour’, not the 11th. :)

It was the 11th ‘Hour’, and yes 7th Guest and 11th Hour were grizzly (for their time) but highly playable. Thanks for reminding me about them. I just need a Myst revival and I’ll be all nostalgiad out! X
I usually spend at least 15 minutes scratching my head at these illusions (yes, I know I’m not the brightest light on the tree); but this one took just 3 seconds as the face is so badly photoshoped!

This is the most ammature photoshop job I’ve seen in a while. I do better work drunk with one eye open…rookies!
I think Zade is right, it looks like there might be seven. If you look where the man and woman who are close together in the middle, you can faintly see an extra pair of legs and a yellowish shirt to the right of the lady. But yes, definitely photoshopped. Still nice though.
that one was a bit too obvious. the lines of the face are so smooth and perfectly curved. i noticed it before i even noticed there were other people in the picture.

not a difficult illusion. i can see this kind of thing happening if it wasn’t so perfectly made…. you know?
side note: at first glance, it looked really pixelated. the feet of the people in the foreground looked boxed with their feet and shadow effect. to me, it was another illusion in itself cause it changes the dynamics of the photo.
Once you zoom in you can see three bare legs so there are 6 people and then the face.
This is fun if your a grade schooler!

Totally obvious once you see it!! took me a little while though…(***hint***on a side in the corner***hint***) yeah definatly fake! the body closest to the camera relly confused me cuz i thought it was there!!!!

Actually, if you view the larger version, you see 5 people standing, one sitting (you can see their legs only, behind the 2 people cuddling(?)plus the photographer, that itself is 7, PLUS the photoshopped face, which brings it to 8 total.

i noticed the sixth, but did you notice the seventh? There is at least a seven body count in this photo, you may have to magnify.
ok youre all slilly look very closly there are 6 real people and the shadow face there is one person behind the two people that over lap (look at the legs theres 6 legs 2 too many if it were only 2 people)

At first I thought there was a little kid as the 6th person.
Look at the guy closest to the camera with the green shirt on. If you look to the left of him at about his waist, it looks like there is a kid with a brown paper bag on his head.

That is brutally obvious. This is a naff illusion.
The picture was taking in lake powell ( I dont know if its az or utah though)
