The best thing you can do is just stop calling these “paid reviews”. That reeks of cynicism. You can’t accept money to give something positive publicity and then make out it’s a *review*. I suggest you just call these spots “Advertising Features” or something.

Technically, all of the labelmakers are digital in that they are discreet. I believe that what you mean is purely mechanical versus labelmakers with electronics in them.

firstly, congrats on the site. It relieves my boredom on an almost daily basis.

Second, ads are just like jobs, just paying the bills. It's not like users can't just click on another page.

Lastly, love the site, do whatever you have to do to keep it up. :)

Hey everyone,

I don't think this will kill the blog, Vurdlak has spended many hours/days/months to create this blog. So a little financing, doesn't hurt right? As long as this blog isn't to commercialy aimed, I don't think it will hurt him.. :) I really think Vurdlak deserved it. He even put a nice story here! To keep it a little personal.

I believe the "annoying" part is not the advertising in general. Banner ads, and the side ads are not that bad. It was the dedication of an entire page in place of what people have come to love every day that gets on everyone's nerves.

Besides, with 50,000 Unique visitors daily, the adspace of these banner ads are bringing A LOT more money than it cost to host this site. It's a pretty flawed argument to say the host must have an entire day's blog focused on some product to be able to pay the bills.

Sure the ads suck but without them there wouldn’t be this website. Since hosting these websites requires webspace, which isn’t free. And ads brings money to the site owners to pay the webspace. So stop whining unless you wanna pay for this site.

So it’s up to you, pay and watch without ads, or don’t pay and watch with ads. And by the way it’s not annoying since there aren’t those kind of ads that produce popups or active “things” on the screen.

So just ignore them. Thanks.

I know that this is going to be censored, much like every other comment I’ve tried to put up…but I hope that other people agree with me when I say that I’m tired of this selling out. Why do you have to do it? I started watching this blog when it was very young. I’ve noticed that it’s gone downhill _SO_ much since then. Not that you care, but I think I might just stop checking the blog. Thanks.
