Just to inform you, from now on, comments similar to “first post“, “first comment” etc. won’t be approved any more. They are really pointless if you ask me. I run this site for little over a year now, but it seems it has become very, very popular lately. I also noticed people started seeing faces everywhere they look. I’m not sure is it because of our site, or something else. Newest addition was by Michael Schlegel who wants us to carefully look at the waterfall photo he sent.
Michael wrote: “You’ll see a face emerging. It requires a bit of imagination but once you see it, it becomes quite obvious. Just before I took the picture someone had told me a tale about the creek that claimed you could hear voices whispering in the creek, that the water was talking to you. I never heard the voices, but the tale made the picture a bit more eerie.” This one wasn’t very convincing, or at least I haven’t seen it. Maybe you will!

Nice illusion, I like the fact tht it was hard to see, and gave you alot of satisfaction once you saw it.

I´m with you man, relaxing picture but no face in it! It´s somehow like the ninjas picture! I think nobody really found more than one ninja! hey you could ask the sender to send the same picture, but with the face profile done with windows paint…
wow, at first all i saw was a goat but then i stared at it for a while and it just hit me. how scary! it has pointy teeth and gray skin!
For any who can’t see the face, it’s in the lower half of the picture. The eye is just off to the left of the center, and just below halfway. There’s sort of a whiter circle. Once, you see that, look about another 2/3 towards the bottom, and you can just see a faint mouth. You’ll see everything else if you can see those.
Scaaary! it looks like satan.. lol
The face is somewhat surreal, it is an outline of the eyes and a rough image of a nose to long for a normal face, the mouth seems to be partially removed and all that is seen is the upper jaw and teeth which are pointed and sharpened.
The image is soothing in it’s our right, but I have to agree, it seems people are finding faces in everything. But this one is rather fun and very fulfilling when you actually find it.
Lame…what a waste of time. Where are the real illusions?
I don’t know about faces, but I think I saw some kind of dog in about the center of the picture. A Scottish Terrier perhaps.

i see some faces, but they’re not very obvious, and i cant find one that, once i spot it, sticks out at my face. i might hav found the eye thou…
I like this one, I see a large face with its mouth open, then directly to the left of the large face, I see another face. It is a smaller face with a long, flowing gray beard. The two faces are touching each other. It looks like the larger face is in awe of the smaller face, staring at it from behind. It seems like the larger face is the young god, and the older face is the older god.
I can see it! Staring right back at you!

scary!…how ironic considering it’s supposed to be a soothing picture of nature
if im seeing it correctly the person also has buck teeth. and i think im seeing a cow or somethin next to the face. lol
Just like clouds, one can see almost anything. However, the myth is of a whispering voice from the water. Goblins, demons, goats aside, look at just off center and you will see a feminine profile with mouth open. Below that is her neck and chest with a hint of a top of sorts. Once you discover that, you might imagine an arm extending outwards (to the left) – much like a singer “whispering her tale”.
I see a baby elephant’s profile right above the evil face. Sorta like this: baby elephant
I can see the trollish/baboon looking face but also, just to the right of it’s upper lip, I can see another face. Looks like a bald man with a beard (no mustache).
And slightly up and to the right of the baboon eyes, there appears to be a ghostly image of a female. It takes a little imagination to, but there’s the deep black eye sockets, a shadow of a nose, and the blackened lips of an opened mouth.
And finally, I see what can only be described as a grinning buck-toothed alien with a goatee. Imagine the baboon eyes are teeth instead (with the goatee hanging below)… to the left is a slight jaw line, above is a white area where a nose would be (of course, we all know aliens don’t have noses) then 2 shaded areas that look almost like squinting eyes.

Ok I’m with Cherie on this one… I can see a few faces.. first one is as Number 9 “anonymous” described, a second is to the right of that circle nose. It’s side on, looking towards the nose (looking to the left of the picture), with it’s mouth open wide. It’s just at the edge of the whiter thicker water. There’s a couple other’s too that could be shapes of faces/features. The face that “9. anonymous” described though is creeping me out… those eyes are freaky..
Like haha951 said, this was a good illusion, and after you see the face it still requires a bit of immagination, and it means people can see their own picture of the face, not something very obvious. Any ways, it’s a good illusion! ^_^

I just can’t see it. These pictures that crazy people see faces in are not really optical illusions. But hey, that’s just my opinion.

Does anyone see the person standing on top of the left eye just left of center (from Michael Tughan’s post) It’s a full body that looks like someone with their arms stretched out like Frankenstein’s Monster. Cool.
Like my namesake, I also see several faces, many that look feline. There’s something very interesting about an illusion that just happens, rather than being contrived by an artist. I’ll cut it some slack for that.. :)
Wow. Well I seem many faces now. It took a bit, though. Oh and I didn’t like the tree illusion much.
Looks like its a prime example of ‘yer run of the mill anthromorphication to me guv’nor.
I can’t see a face but I can see a figure of a little girl with her hand out but maybe thats just me I see her off to the right half of the picture her dress is at the very bottom of the picture.
The face is most likely just a refraction of the light through it against the rock behind with some reflection of the person’s face in front of it.
It would be interesting to get a picture of the rock behind to see why that happened or if it really is some spooky image!!!

dude u can see faces in almost any random pattern. if ur house that popcorn-style celing, look up at it and i bet u see a face after a few minutes.
I saw a face and the I saw Mickey Mouse! I saw about a total of 4 faces so far!

wow. I see a scared Indian girl wearing an ornate top, like a beaded top they wear. Her hair is tied in a pig tail down to the left side of the picture. That’s fricken awesome. I wonder what happened at that waterfall, or what ties her to it…

This is pretty awesome. It took me a while to get something outt of it. I found an old looking man, and a buck. There is also a girl that I found on the left (the small little waterfall) and it looks like her head is down slightly and her arm is raised as if ashamed. I’m still trying to find other faces, but no luck yet.

i dont know if i really see it…lol… i think i do but if that is it then the face is leaning at an angle or somthin. i dont possibly see how someone could see a dog or a goat though. lol.
Holy Crap go to the middle of the waterfall and look the the left I see a chihuahua kissing a penguin or maybe that’s just me cause I lov echihuahuas.
The only “face” I see is some weird skinny bearded guy with a skinny neck and mickey mouse ears ( Ha! )

Yeah I see two faces. The one on the left is peaceful and has its eyes closed and the bigger one on the right looks like a demon or something.

I see a bearded guy below center left. He doesn’t seem to be very happy and has only one eye! And his nose is also a humongous nose of another face I saw. It has tiny eyes and a beard under the nose, which covers more than half of the face.
Why is he so angry? did i do something wrong? It’s true that it’s obvious when you’ve realised it.
this is weird i see 2 faces, one is soft and beautiful the other one reminds me of the grudge..ugh but very cool..especially with the story behind it

Imagination? I got too much i’m seeing things im not supposed to see…an ostrich, a goat with a duck head, saturn, a girl with a skirt and the goat that i mentioned seems to me kissing her boobs, and 2 rockets. Thats how my imagination is like. I’m not lying, I really see it.

I saw it with the first glance
since we dont have much developed some senses like hearing and sniffing, the fast reckoning of shapes (as example in the dark) is a matter of survivance. since we are in a society that after the voice, expreses mostly in simbols, we have yet more developed that ability to find meaning in shapes that doesn’t really have it. i’m pretty shure that some weird things does exist, but y believe this is just a matter of treacherous creativity. you’ll find this happening in many illusions around here and in publicity. also a technique used by some drawers to estimulate creativity is to make some random shapes or lines and make somting from the result. bye and sorry if my english kindda sucks.

I found this picture on accident, but I don’t really see why you all need a website to tell you to look for faces. I have been doing it since I was little, and no online site ever had to tell me where to look.
