Timo Johann found this cool Google Earth satellite photo. I don’t speak French, but these buildings look extremely similar to some alphabet letters, don’t they? Could it only be a coincidence? I really doubt it, they represent letters obviously. So, if anyone here knows French, help us and translate the meaning? Or did we all fall under illusion, and there is no hidden message. Every now and then someone finds strange Google Earth location, and mails it to me. I post only the best, and those that have anything to do with optical illusions. I still have few hundred submitted illusions in my mailbox, so don’t worry if you don’t see you rsubmission posted yet.

Upside-down it says “3810″ with some other squiggles. About as good an interpretation as any other. Now if only we knew what 3810 means in French?

It OBVIOUSLY says something in an alien language that translates to something like, “We will destroy all of you”

It seems almost like the architect tried to say something (of which the meaning is lost to us now), but then his/her plan got ruined by something practical like the structural soundness of the building, need for more office space, etc. Maybe the guy’s name was Voiiz, but they decided to build a parking garage between the o and the i. It would be hard to tell without knowing the date that each building was designed, because some buildings could have come later without the later architect even being aware of the lettering scheme.

First of all, we should remark there is an I at the begining of the second “line”, so it is not written DOIBE but IDOIBE.
Then, it is quite sure that de B is in fact an E : it seems that a part of the building has been constructed later than the rest of the building. So we have IDOIEE.
Then, I’m not sure, but I think the D is in fact a J : it apeers to be a D only because of the bad perspective. Tha makes we have IJOIEE.

In this stays a real french word : JOIE (happiness).

But what about the rest?! After reflection, I’m not sor sure there’s an I at the beginning of the second line. Anyway…

I see a pokeball in every google earth illuosion… Pardon my greek

    O.o

  10. you can really see a pokeball says:

    “VOALA L’DOIBE COOTOC”

    “VCAI% IDOIEE =OOTOC”

    “VOAL’O I DO I BE =DDOTOC”

    “VOALO I D Q I B E CODOTOC”

    “VOOLO IDOIBE COOOTOC”

or, if you want a real stretch…

    “O, ALA-I, DO I BE COOT? OC…”

(oh, Alai, do i be cute? OK…”)

(or, alternatively, “oh, Alai, dye me a bandicoot, OK?”)

no, i dont think this says anything in French (or German, Hindi, English, Arabic, Gaelic, Latin, Pig Latin, Oppish, Japanese, Mandarin, Spanish, Afrikaans, Solomon Islands Pidgin, Ancient Egyptian, Koori, Alkitab, Greek,
Korean, Malay, Russian, Sinhalese, Swedish, Tamil, Vietnamese or any other language for that matter)

At first it looks so obvious… but maybe it really was an accident.

i dunno , but maybe the letters aren’t in the right order, or even upside down. So i’m trying to take each letter then put it together again, maybe, maybe not lol. Alternatively it could be the architects name, but built up, or, on the other hand just pure coincidence lol

  13. Anonymous says:

so after getting each individual letter I, and only I got quite a few different sets but the one that i first saw and seemed to me to be right i got

    V c h I j ‘I b e o = c d o d t o c

so i don’t speak french, and it might not even be in french but, you’re welcome to try and figure it out, the letters might even have numerical value with a secret number, or date, who knows.

    Hey

    I am french.

Maybe It used to mean something in the past but you know. As the time goes, some building are destroyed and replaced by some with different shape.

If you want to carry out a deeper search I suggest you to search for the year of construction and find old maps of the area…

    good luck

    just wierd buildings

  22. Anonymous says:

when I saw this I was drawn to the bottom “letters” and I can just make out what looks to say “TOE” The last three buildings. The red one looks like a T the middle one which looks like a park has a walkway shaped like an O and the next building looks likes an E so i dunno, I just felt like pointing that out.
