Clowning Around

Don't know if you saw this one till now. User called Chuichi emailed me recently this photo where guy looks like a clown. It was just a lucky shot, where the ball was caught while flying in just right position. Am not certain, but I believe that the "guy" is England's prime minister, Tony Blair. If I'm wrong, be sure to comment! We had some lucky shots in the past, also! Sleepy Hallow Gymnast, Juggling the ball, Merging Planes, Conspicuous Spies, Still-water Drops ...

It is indeed our clown minister

  2. Anonymous Anonymous

    no, its George W Bush

Shouldn't the ball in blurry like the person juggling it if is was real. Still looks cool though.

Its not goerge bush and no the ball shouldnt be blured (as much) because the guy it is covering is about to catch it so it is imbetween the two.

    Is that Tony Blair???

  6. Anonymous ***Zeina***

All I know is that he's not George Bush.

    Cool picture.

My first guess was that someone just added a ball to the picture. :)

Looks like Tony Blair is either clapping or about to catch it

lol yes tis Blair! i only hav to raise that both the picture AND the ball look clear which-despite previous comments of 'inbetween'-brings me doubts of authenticity. Also, tbh, the ball looks too perfect to be real, it is a singular colour and of perfect spherical shape so i believe it could well b photoshopped or the like

this looks a bit odd, but it sums him up well. and anyway this "guy" isn't englands prime minister, he's the UKs prime minister

  10. Anonymous Anonymous

I find it funnier that it looks like hes about to catch the ball!

the ball should be as out of focus as the thrower's hand, assuming he is throwing it vertically. seeing as it is not as blurry, either he's throwing the ball at the painting or something fishy is going on.

The question should be, who's the guy in the white...

  14. Anonymous Anonymous

If the ball is in his highest position, it should not be blurry - cause it stands still for a moment.
    Great shot

its so weird tony blair or whoever he is is outside the pictureframe (bottom right). anyone else notice this? or am i just crazy?

  16. Anonymous Anonymous

It is Tony Blair, the ball is not of one colour (obvoiusly) and the shading is correct considering the lightsource direction and is of a 'mid-blurr' (I tried for a while to come up with a better word to discribe that) which it should be if it is mid-way between thrower & catcher. This image has not been 'chopped' as we say.

yes it is Tony Blair. At first I thought he was in the picture bu he isn't! haha and i think he is playing a little game of catch. nice shot.

  18. Anonymous Anonymous

hahah i think it is just a simple game of catch here...but to be honest for the first 2 minutes of looking at this i thought the "guy" was in the painting and the dude in the white was just tossing a ball. yess im a loser

No you guys/girls just don't realise that is his REAL nose! no illusion.
Also if anyone was going to throw anything at Tony Blair I just hope that they are holding a pin in the other hand…
    …BooM…

    He He Hee

This was submitted by me. I've seen similar photos in different angles, which shows little cricketers throwing the red cricket ball to Blair. I'll try to find those to show you that this photo wasn't photoshopped in any way!

The first thing I thought was that it looks like they're trying to duplicate a famous painting - http://www.ucsf.edu/daybreak/lifestyle/bayevents.html

Just England's PM? Wow, who is covering the other countries in the UK then?

  23. Anonymous Anonymous

that is Tony Blair for sure. No way that could be Georgie Porgy Bush.

  24. Anonymous Anonymous

LOL i thought Blair wos IN the picture!! its only till i looked at the frame continuety that i saw hes is outside!!....that prob makes me seem kinds unobservant.....or 'dumb' as you put it.....

Very good, very clever -- that's a really lucky shot! One thing -- it's not England's Prime Minister, Tony Blair is Prime Minister of the whole United Kingdom (unless those Scots have rebelled recently).

  26. Anonymous Mati12

Lol. I am another one of those who thought that Tony Blair, Prime Minister of the WHOLE UK, was actually in the painting.
He'd look good as a clown, though.

  27. Anonymous THE TRUTH

By the way I would just like to point out that this "ball" you are referring to is not actually a ball. It is actually a red nose from 2007 comic relief THE BIG ONE. and to all you americans comic relief is a charity and we have a thing called red nose day.

As people haev said this person is indeed tony blair and he was very much involved with this years comic relief. He was in a sketch with lauren (catherine tate).

This illusion is just a very good angle.

Is it not amazing that Mr Blair has time to play balls games when hundreds of thousands are working harder and harder to live to expectation, due to taxes and the rest!!! Needless to say.!! Soliders are dying in a war more pointless than immagration allowances and the fact were over whemled by his bollocks everyday.
