Nicholas R. S. emailed me these interesting photos, taken at Bayview Subway Station, in Toronto. Nick said: “Sort of like the big lines on the buildings or the 3d chalk drawings. Good stuff!” Indeed, these are something between murals and street art. Clearly, they work in a way anamorphic images work. If you are long time visitor, you may notice few of those pictures were already published on this site – 3D ladder and impossible steps. These are still pretty cool, but not as good as the other 3-D art that was on here a while ago. The one’s with people in them are the best.

Is the guy in the 3rd picture real, or is he part of the painting? The same(similar) painting is shown again, without the guy, but he still sorta looks like part of the drawing

I pass by that station every day. I only ever noticed the salt shaker. Some time I’ll have to get off and look around. That’s Bayview station in Toronto.
Whoever runs this place or else painted all those things at the wall should hold a booth for passer-bys to get their pictures taken with these drawings and charge ten apeice. Cool, cool stuff.
