I have a rule to avoid placing photoshoped real-life illusions on this site. So many times I hear in my comments: “This illusion is Photoshoped“. I can assure you, that those of you who claim so, are 99% of the time – wrong. Rarely when I post photoshoped illusion, I state it clearly in the post body not to mislead you. Well, this time I couldn’t resist to put this beautiful photos submitted by Eshita Anjum. I’m aware they are edited by a computer, and it is obvious they are. This masterpiece art collection was done by Christopher Gilbert, and you can see the full collection inside. For more photoshopped images see: painted trucks, water flames and the moon star illusion. Enjoy!

    • Kollie says:

You’re just jealous that you can’t do it. That’s the only reason people say things like that on a public form.

  7. Anonymous says:

Love them!! Although the bath one is kind of freaky…

  8. Rona says:

love them all! like the horses the best.

  9. Jacob says:

Actually there are NOT pohtoshopped. The Horse on was taken using small model horses.

  10. Anonymous says:

Are these photos photoshopped? I think they are.

  11. Liberate says:

    The 3rd pic is scary

  12. All-knowing Supreme Master of Intellectual Smartness says:

Come on people. Everyone knows that when you smell coffee your hair turns into a bunch of horses, and when you pour paint on yourself you turn into a mermaid!!! But why…WHY do these people have such strange spines?!? Anorexia is bad…

  13. Anonymous says:

  20. Arnel@hyip says:

  21. Girlie Mendoza says:

I always look the lady in blue,I was so amazed

Wow, great job with the horses, my jaw dropped!

  23. really? says:

mermaid hunh funny alls i see is the paint turning into a dress on the woman the horses are cool the third one is kinda retarded

  24. Maryann says:

The work is incredible. But if you can afford to produce work like this, can’t you afford to feed your models? The model in the second photo looks about twenty pounds from certain death. It kind of breaks the magical spell they would otherwise create.

  25. Shoped? says:

Can’t wait to start droping everything to go shoping where I could get poped in the head by some random spell checker.

  26. apopagasm says:

they’re not illusions in the slightest but they’re nice to look at

  27. Rayn Drahps says:

Yeah, these aren’t really illusions, this is just photoillustration. I used to be vehemently anti-digital art for all the yadayada reasons but now I am one. I still like shooting black and white film but digital photography and computer programs have caught up. I now live by this old Austrian motto “To Every Age Its Art – To Art Its Freedom!” Passing shopped images off as real is still a no-no, except of course if you’re purposely culture-jamming.. then thats art too! ;)

  28. to: maryann says:

20 lbs from death is a pretty far jump, some girls r at a perfectly healthy weight at 105 and 20 lbs below that is 85 (hopefully u understand math) and that is quite a difference.

  29. UnIcOrN says:

my dad doesnt like art like that he thinks it is odd…but i love it

  30. verge says:

wow! i love these collection! way way great!

  31. jojo says:

LOVE the horse one. Absolutely beautiful. The paint dress one is gorgeous too and the bathtub body one is freaky but very creative!

  32. Catherine Todd says:

I have been looking for more information about the Woman in Blue Paint for a number of years now! I can’t believe I found it here… who is the photographer and where can I find out more about it? The model reminds me of Angelina Jolie so much, it’s uncanny. Great photographs, photoshopped or not.

Did Christopher Gilbert do all these pictures?

Contact me at CatherineTodd2 at gmail dot com if you know more about the blue paint photo. Thanks!

  33. cheychey says:

I find the 3rd the best and most interesting and the 1st OK. The third is like a lady that is the tub but if u notice, her legs are in her tub !

  34. eee efff geee says:

the woman in bath needs to move her head XD

  35. Abisso says:

Third one is the coolest… it’s like she’s bathing in herself. Made me think way more than the other 2, which are still gorgeous though.

  36. Christina says:

i like them but the last one is creepy as hell *_*

  37. Sapphy says:

    Its quite amazing..

  38. Natasha says:

There is no competition to creativity and imagination and the above illustration is a big example of it. :) Hats off…
