Stillwater Captured Drops

I'm almost certain that most of you will comment these beautiful pictures as photoshop work. Well, those of you who will, are deeply wrong! Jeffrey Klassen is author and he has published his work online. If you follow the link I posted, you can see how he managed to capture such amazing pictures. The drops looked to me like miniature glass sculptures, and I was really amazed when I found what they really are. Notice the pictures reflected inside the drops. They show you inverted and miniatured reflection of background "wallpaper". Which picture did you like the best? Open the article for more pictures, and be sure to visit John's website for more wonderful examples. I noticed how Canada illusions are very popular nowadays. Don't get me wrong, I live nowhere near Canada - am in Europe in fact. Check also: Canada flag afterimage, Canadian dollars illusion, photoshoped water flames...

These are cool, but I still like the water shape fire drops. I wonder if this is just regular water or some other type of clear thicker liquid

YooPoo, its a high speed camera.
You can use it to catch pictures of
action, like if you are jumping,
    it will catch you jumping

Jeeze people...you can tell it's photoshopped...how else would he put the little pictures in the drop? WAKE UP...GOSH!

  17. Blogger Narro87

Maybe if you were to look at the background and realize that what's in the drop is pictured upside-down and on a much larger scale, you'd realize that the picture is created by the light traveling through the drop and being refracted into the picture in the drop. It's science, not Photoshop. ;)

  18. Anonymous Lynn

I agree with narro87. Science explains it, not photoshop. Wake up YooPoo.

  19. Anonymous Foxx

YooPoo, you poo. It is soo not photoshopped. he photographs the picture in the droplet at just the right moment. WAKE UP...GOSH! Oh and go out and see the world and don't just believe the first things you hear or see
