Is this what you see here the ghost of Houdini? Well no, of course not, but you just might think it is after you’ve viewed this awesome original illusion created by Bob King. To explain how it works: open the picture below, then, with your eyes about 12 inches away, stare at the white circle nearest the middle of the image for 60 seconds. Now close your eyes and tip your head back a bit, keeping your eyes closed for about 20 seconds. Wait to see if Houdini’s image slowly appears! You can do this also by starring at white surface. As some of you old timers here noticed, it’s really similar to Original Jesus illusion, but there were also light bulb and Batman illusions, located in afterimage category. Oh, almost forgot about USA flag illusion!

That was sooooo cool, it workded. It is just like looking at a light for a long time, and you can still see the light once you have closed your eyes. I can still see him too.

I agree with ME, it doesn’t work too well, but about the “after image” category, you can do that with any simple image w/ inversed colors… it is still cool though.

I used to do things like this for my art class, draw around the contrasts between light and dark and the drawing you get looks very weird, but when you stare at them and then close your eyes you see the original image. Nothing special really but still looks cool if you havn’t come across it before.

Houdini was a famous magician in the early 1900s, he isn’t alive any more, but was considered the best magician ever. and quite a few of his tricks still haven’t been explained
You can always get a few extra seconds out of the image if you blink a couple of times.
I still don’t get it, his tricks are making weird pictures of people? Dosent seem like much of a magician to me!!1

Houdini was an escape artist. He found his way out of chains, shackles, and straight jackets, including underwater while holding his breath and hanging upside-down from a tall building. One of his secrets was to hide keys in cracks in his feet. Really, an incredible magician and icon and it is unbelievable that some have not heard of him.

Try staring at different parts for 30secs. The eyes on this work really good if you stare at these then look away.

Houdini was a very famous escape artist, people. This illusion was awesome . . . the shoking likeness of Houdini’s faced scared me half to death. Very cool.

Houdini was once an amazing magician, better than any other magician at his time. He was known for escaping dangerous stunts such as in the movie “The Prestige”. But one day, one of his stunts went wrong. So now, there have been numerous contributions to Houdini.
I love this one because the one with jesus scared me bacause i didn’t know what i was goin to see…..spooky…but i like this one
